    Best bet is to just search this site there is a ton of info. Get a Great Lakes fishing book there r plenty of them. I am planning my first trip to lake o but figuring august

    There you go! I am thinking of the same thing. I have 150lbs of quickcrete mix that I could do just what you are saying. Sounds like a good idea. will have to put it ahead of the "head" i.e. portapotty that I have in there for the wife.

    Really? I was just on there. When u do the Craigslist search go to vt and the type in Starcraft islander there are three that come up I just checked again. Big money though

    There is an 191 Islander for sale in VT. Nice rig, 1997 I believe. Has a 130OB on it and has the BRKT. really nice to have the OB version of the islander with the BRKT

    The bottom of the treble should not extend past the end of the fly skirt. i.e. when you lay it flat you shouldnt see the hook much. the beads are used between the hook and the top of the fly where your line goes through to keep the hook in place at the bottom of the skirt

    Perfect thanks! that is the same location as my existing Tite Lok is located on either side of the boat. I will just replace them with the single multilocks. I only plan on running a single dipsey off either side as it is.

    no, I am not going to get the HDI. I do not see the point of it for trolling. I am getting the base model with GPS

    Sounds good. My first package will be the June package! I guess is shipping now. Got an email from them yesterday looking for my mailing address. Guess I forgot to add that! Good customer service though! Looking forward to recieveing my fist of 3 shipments. Since I have nothing in the line of salmon tackle, anything is a good start!

    The islanders being a tin boat trailer easily. I trailer it with a 2001 durango V8. Launching is simple, being aluminum doesnt take much water to launch it. Super easy. I would much rather trailer a 22' aluminum boat over a 22' fiberglass one anyday!

    The Ford/Chevy debate. I am looking at the Elite 7 myself. I like the way it has a simple operation and the larger screen etc.
