  4. Went up for the shakedown trip, my son and I. Tried the Fair Haven state launch , the wind blew all the ice chunks into the launch and froze over night. So we went west in search of a launch , didnt make out to good to launch a 20 ft aluminum, water way to low. As luck would have it someone hooked us up with a private launch saturday. So we hit the lake about 1:30 finally , first 5 minutes had a hit on a shallow board towing a LS bayrat, off before we could do anything. Over the next fewhours we managed 4 nice browns , 10,8,7,7 pounds. Mix of bay rats on boards and spoons on the rigger. Caught in 10-16 fow Great to be out , hopefully the water level will come up soon . Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-J327A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  17. I use the Shakespeare stainless that lays down , but bolted it to a flat pc of aluminum that fits into the tracks and put it on when I'm doing the rod holders and riggers and usually just slid it out with the rod holders and riggers when done to put the boat cover on when traveling Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-J327A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  19. Good luck with the new pup. I made a 12 hour drive fo my drahthaar. Going to be 8 months in a week. We missed a couple weeks of putting birds out for him because of the weather and ice fishing trip But we hit it yesterday by putting out a few chukars for him. Hard to mis the excitement in the dog when he knows what were gonna be doing . Still working on "whoa" training as it seems yesterday he forgot what it was. 21. Interesting story. I hunted coyotes with a guy who used "Dorn dogs" cant remember which breeds made up this breed of dog. We would sit on a hill or knoll vantage point and start calling coyotes. The dogs would sit by you looking for yotes to show. And when the dogs saw the coyotes the dog would run to engage the coyote with a game of grab ass. And then stop chasing the coyote and start back to where you were and the coyote not to happy with these dogs on their turf would chase the dogs for grab ass . Coyotes are distracted and focused on the dogs ,not the shooter, and heading in your direction offering opportunity for a shot. Was a blast . 25. I have the vmax for my trolling motor batteries . Been about 4 years I think . Have not notice a diminish in length of time using them . I have an onboard charger and keep them topped off periodically in off season as well as charger soon as I can when I'm done fishing.
