Last Tuesday we lost a true Seneca lake legend. Captain Eric with “Seneca lake charters”. Eric was a a husband a father to two young girls that love the outdoors. Eric was a die hard seneca lake fisherman, he lived 10 minutes from Lake Erie but would take the drive every morning from buffalo to Seneca lake to run charters. He grew up fishing with Bernie miller who would make “miller lures” running flutter spoons and cowbells on the Great Lakes and finger lakes.. since Eric got his captains license and would run charters on Seneca lake and he would inspire me to get my captains license.. he was tight lipped but every time I had questions about anything he would give me answers, he would run all types of brands but he would always have millers spoons out there. We would have friendly competition durning the lake trout derby and bet $5 for biggest fish. I’ll miss the countless times we tell each other hey try this lure or the calls to make sure we’re putting fish in the boat. He caught fish on best days and on the worst days. A true die hard.. gone to early

Very sorry to hear.  Sounds like a real legend.  What a massive commitment making that drive to Seneca repeatedly.  He must've really loved the lake.  I will fish my Miller spoons more often now.  May he Rest In Peace.
