Hi,I have had great luck with size 2 chinook for trout here in Colorado. The larger fish smash the divers. Any reason not to use the size 5's for salmon fishing? I would guess you can run 2 on side as well. thanks.

That’s all I use for divers on my boat. They work really well for kings

What sizes and settings for them. Thanks.

Where do you fish in Colorado ?

If you haven't used a slide diver , you might want to try one .

Thanks, I have tried them. I prefer the chinooks. In CO for trolling trout usually 11 mile. Super fun with Kokanee rods on the riggers and light rod set up with chinook divers. I go to Lake Oahe and Lake Michigan for salmon a few times a year.

I use all chinooks at this point as well they work very well for the lake Ontario trout and salmon.  As far as using them vs dipseys its a personal preference thing For me i feel they have less drag once released and they maintain a better dive curve as they get deeper.  I also feel like they are more durable which is a benefit to how i store them.

360 Marine is coming out with a new diver as well, It has not been released as of yet, if you are deep water troller.

I have used the size 6 but only a few times last year so far not enough to see a difference with the 5s but I ended up walleye fishing and bass fishing a bunch late summer and fall last year so no need for fishing that deep
