Looking for ideas on putting two EasyTroll Cannon hand cranker downriggers on this 188 Hurricane Sundeck boat. Short booms, maybe 24"s or rod holder ideas too

Tried rail mounts, the rails on these are so small in diameter nothing holds.

Tring to get back to some recreation trolling from the sun crusier on Seneca!20260610_085624.thumb.jpg.fb7d3ec505aafac860e689c7c674fef6.jpg20260610_085624.thumb.jpg.fb7d3ec505aafac860e689c7c674fef6.jpg20260610_085624.thumb.jpg.fb7d3ec505aafac860e689c7c674fef6.jpg

Excuse my lousy computer artwork...... Perhaps mount 2 sections of track in the RED areas I drew in, you could come up with risers and put a trolling board across the back..... Slide the entire assembly out of the track for pleasure cruising.  They make rubber inserts to fit in the empty track... kind of turns it into a step pad...

Something like this....

I like that!

I will have to do a little measuring and check access

I'm also thinking mounting on those hatches that open, putting a fastenter(s) on them to keep them closed

I would just use risers to get above the cushions and mount them back as far as possible, and use a board to go across the back and mount riggers, and go with a good, solid adjustable rod holder. I use the Cannon single axis ratcheting holders for walleye fishing on Erie. But you have a great selection of adjustable holders that don't ratchet, but I wouldn't use anything else.
