Just returned from our annual march for the fallen Hero's . Its an honor to do so every year (27 for me). And thanks to all the hero's who fought along side the departed as well. You have made this country free, and thats a big deal

What a change from when I entered the Navy towards the end of Viet Nam! Great to see so many Americans taking pride in this great land and the men and women who guard our freedom. It was my honor to wear the cloth of this nation for over 30 years -- and my eyes still get a bit wattery every time I hear our national anthem and see Old Glory wave. We do have so much to be thankful for in this land and we owe so much to the men and women who started us on this journey back in 1776 and the ones who are keeping us free today.

It's amazing to me that we have so many young men and women willing to give their all -- as well as their parents who raised them.

God bless this great land and the soldiers, sailors, and airmen who keep us free!
