hunting has been slow

not much flying sat/sun. i made a nice double on sun. of course when we were packing up on sunday,ducks wanted to come in. driving along the shore i saw hundreds. going to chase the deers this weekend. hope things pick up for late season.

The only living things I saw Sunday am were geese, hundreds of them.

If the late season is going to be salvaged, we need a big arctic blast to send them down. Would'nt hurt to get all the small water locked up either. Supposed to be huge numbers of birds. I havent seen them yet. (other than loads of mallards) Come on big NW blow!!

Well norther season ended today and it was a very disappointing late season. Got into a few divers a couple weeks ago but they disappeared and no new birds took their place. Very few birds on the St Lawrence and I even traveled to Oak Orchard on western end of Lake Ontario and there were few birds there also.

I'll be hunting in Cape Cod over Christmas and late season in Western NY in January. Hopefully some birds will filter down by then.
