SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

Just wondering, it is easier for me to fish the afternoons and evenings trailering all the way to lake Ontario.

Anyone feel there is an advantage either way? Thanks for any input

I do like fishing in the morning, but with that said evening fishing is generally a more relaxed fishing experience the lake lays down or is more calm in the evening also. There is less boats out and the fishing is usually productive.

I agree that the evening trips are more relaxed, less pressure at the launch, trying to get in and park before the lot fills up all in the dark (and my eyes are open :sleepy::yawn::lol: ) but there is something relaxing about the troll into the sunset and the evening run back to port, lights on, smooth sea, and the success of a good catch in the box. I have had very good catches in the late afternoon especially in mid to late summer way offshore. Most times like mentioned, it is solitude and not a boat in site.

Looks like T/storms on Sunday, gotta' work 'till noon on Saturday, so in order to get my weekly "fix", I'm going to give it a go on Sat. afternoon, 'cause staying home, is a sure way, NOT to catch 'em.
