Pair of Cam Locks for Cannon downriggers

Recommended Posts

The black ones are sold, still have silver.

The flat metal cam needs to be filed down to 3/4". Throw out the bent cam. These are keyed alike

These locks fit mag 5st, mag 10stx, digitroll 5 and digitroll 10.

one is already filed down but it may need to be filed a bit more. Its like a puzzle getting them in there but they work. The one on top is how it came.

I have some with a silver face (not pictured) $12 for 2 shipped. Same deal, they need to be filed down.

Just remember, locks are for honest people

Much better than $21 each

I always thought that the plastic area around the lock was very "Cheesy" and would not take much to break it off.  I have the official Cannon locks which look like they are from a file cabinet.  To supplement security I replaced the knobbed 1/4-20 bolts with security screws that have very little way to grip the head and require a special wrench to remove.  Hopefully, thieves are not going around with various security screw wrenches in their pockets.

I agree Irg. The plastic around the lock looks like it could break easy. I'm not sure but I believe a lock from Walker downriggers would fit where the main bolt is. It looks like 1/4-20 threads. I have a walker lock, I should try it
