whaler1 871 Posted July 11, 2018 Looking forward to planting my late season plot. Planted it too early last year and it sucked. My clover looks fantastic and I hope to be planting my turnips by the end of next week. Love watching them grow. Reelfanatic 27 Posted July 15, 2018 Other plot just down the hill is clover and just mowed. This took alot of work. Clearing tops from where it got logged and dumping tons of lime to get ph up. Gonna be good though.Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
whaler1 871 Posted July 15, 2018 Had the pleasure of meeting Matt (Bosun Cowboy) today. He came over and discked my plot. Fantastic guy, if anyone needs discking done I highly recommend you shoot him a PM. Hit it with some 15-15 and seeded it this morning. Have the sprinkler going now and looks like rain on Tuesday. Love it! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Bosun Cowboy 60 Posted July 28, 2018 put in over an acre of pioneer field corn tight to one side of power lines and another narrow acre of soy beans on other side to funnel the deer. Corns over 9ft tall as of today and has 2 ears on Almost every stalk. We Poured the nitrogen to it. also planted a sugar beet and pumpkin plot 30 days ago. Poured the Urea to it last week before the rain and it exploded. 60 more days or so to maturity on this plot. Reelfanatic 27 Posted July 29, 2018 Here's our oat, clover plot with strips of brassicas in highest light areas. Rain made it blow up last week. Last year it was a hemlock flat that got logged. Took alot of clearing. And lime!Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Reelfanatic 27 Posted July 30, 2018 More excited for the 30 chestnut trees we planted to start producing. Be a few years but it's gonna change things big time. Some we bought were already producing nuts, so hopefully good yield in few years.Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

Reelfanatic 27 Posted August 1, 2018 Walmart gets orders in every spring. If you check out chestnut hill nursery website, it lists where and when trees will be available.Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
