Dad & I got out with Andy Bliss from Chasin' Tail Adventures yesterday and tied into quite a few steelhead, with the highlight being this pig that I landed on a trout bead fished under a float:

It was COLD, but we still had a great day. Andy sure knows the river and he put us on fish all day long. I'm looking forward to my next trip up there...sure is a great way to cure cabin fever!

hmm looks like the tree hanging just 1/4 mile below the muskrat hole (ells cove)

I believe you are to far down with that guess. I am thinking that is the tree hanging over one of the first holes you come to after the LFZ.

I think I snapped the two pics with the steam coming off the water just after we came through the wire hole....I honestly can't remember exactly where we were. It was definitely way upstream though. My fish came a ways downstream of that, and that shot of my Dad is well below the Pineville bridge.

The tree was in the Barrel, about 200 yards down from the Altmar bridge and just up from the schoolhouse.

That is what I was thinking Andy, Ty for the conformation. Wish they would keep the flow up, we need mother nature to help though.
