  2. Yes just get longer cables and swap them out.
  3. I was born in 85 you might remember me and my brother and dad Jim Haviland .
  4. Started my engine after winter storage. Starts and runs fine but I don’t ever remember it shaking this bad at idle. Little gas and shake smooths right out. Is this something I need to worry about or does it just need to be ran under load and work itself out I swapped plugs, new gas and added some seafoam. IMG_1059.mov
  5. I purchased a used Honda 9.9hp for my 22ft project boat. Motor runs great and it came with throttle/shifter controls but the cables to reach the kicker motor on my boat are short. This is only my second boat that will have throttle/shifter controls all my other boats were tillers. Is it possible to get longer cables and replace the existing ones or do I have to buy a whole new throttle/shifter control box with the correct lengthen cables.
  6. Browns stay close to shore all season. As the lake warms, browns find where 62ish degree water intersects the bottom. They stay in that zone no matter how deep it goes. Steelhead roam the open waters of the lake usually in or above the thermal cline. Kings will roam all over in all water temps.
  7. For those of you using these for, what type/amount of backing with 30lb wire? I have blood run wire if that helps. Thanks. They have a bit larger capacity than saltist 30it seems.
  8. Yes the plates are still for sale 4 CANNON TRACK MOUNTING PLATs $40 plus $10 shipping Let me know if you want them
  9. Updated listing to include pic# and name of color pattern for ordering
  10. Thank you, gonna give it a try.
  11. Yes point 1 AP…. Sounds like it should be an easy fix. Thanks guys
  12. TTT The boat is in the water; buy the boat and keep it docked in Sodus for the summer.
  13. I would think if you have a way to route it there already moving it up high away from everything would be your best bet mine is on my starboard side gunnel all the way in the back.
  14. Is it the Point-1 AP heading sensor? That unit needs to be free and clear of any electrical interference. That is most likely your problem. Relocate the heading sensor and you issue will most likely be resolved.
  15. Puck is on top of the console between the HDS unit and the fish hawk. But it is under the windshield and hard top. Just mounted in front of the steering wheel on the dash
  16. For sale is the last of the Walleye Nation Creation Reapers I have painted up by yours truly. Asking $8 each. All are brand new, in factory packaging. If you want 5 or more, I'll also ship for free. Less than 5, standard $5 to ship through USPS. I at least have 1 of every color shown. Some colors, I have more than 1. Once a color is sold, I will update the listing of sold colors. # in parentheses is the quantity I have on hand along with the color name. Any questions, please ask. As always, FISH ON! (4) baby brownie (4) Knucklehead (4) Penny Perch (4) Just Ripe (3) Black Mamba (2) Goby (3) Purple Nana (3) Smeltzie
  17. Two day Report including Olcott/ Wilson Big Boy Shootout tournament.
  18. Tough BT fishing . Fished hard to get one that squeaked in above the minimum...
  19. Does the west end of the lake (Olcott, Oak Orchard, Wilson) also have lamprey problems?
  20. That would be where I would start. That's alot of electric in a very small area. Your puck is under your consol then?
  21. Well that was on thought I had. It’s mounted next to the Lowrance head unit and the fish hawk unit. Directly below the dash in the cuddy is the computer part of the AP. When we are back to Henderson in 2 weeks I thought of moving the heading sensor outside. Possibly on the roof because I have a spot to go through an old antenna wire ran.
  22. Are you getting any interference where your puck is? The first year I put electric riggers on my boat they interfered and I had to move them up about a foot and never had anymore issues. Mine would do the same thing.
  23. We installed a Lowrance AP on a 24' Thompson the other week. Calibrated with the rudder position and did the 390 degrees turn calibration. It's connected to a Lowrance hds live 12" unit. The heading sensor is mounted on the dash. Day 1 it steered great, day 2 and 3 it would hunt a little then after say a mile or two it will start with a sharp S pattern and get to where it's useless. We turned it off and on and it would continue with the S pattern. Any ideas where to start with it? Thank You
