  2. Came out at 9 to do a little walking. up saw 6 all does. And was watching 3 doe out feeding and had a yote sneaking thru the woods so got him in an opening and ended his journey! Sent from my LM-V405 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. I'm glad to have Brian batting cleanup . I will mention that in the five years that I've owned the property, we've only lost a single deer, and that was a doe shot during crossbow that got into a flooded area. I can't speak for the neighbors, though...when I first bought the property, we found four small dead bucks at the end of December. Somebody around there likes to shoot and needs more practice.
  4. Id like a set too, Paypal payment sent. Best Regard. Len
  5. Today
  6. Not sure if this will work or not, but I have heard if you stuff dryer sheets in the tubes and let them sit for a little bit, it will eliminate the problem .
  7. Third deer in three years that was crippled from this same property. Last year it was a button with a destroyed leg and the year before a doe that had a backward leg from a car accident. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  11. Did a little squaw shoot this morning. Not much flying but enough to keep busy. Sent from my Pixel XL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. Shot a half racked buck this morning. He was chasing doe with a bad limp. Looks like he was shot in the hind quarters last night or yesterday morning. Would have been a small 8 if he had both sides. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. Seaway Locks Each lock is 233.5 metres long (766 feet), 24.4 metres wide (80 feet) and 9.1 metres deep (30 feet) over the sill. A lock fills with approximately 91 million litres of water (24 million gallons) in just 7 to 10 minutes. Getting through a lock takes about 45 minutes.
  14. And it's mid-December. Not looking good for Lake Ontario. https://weather.com/safety/winter/news/2019-12-11-near-record-high-levels-great-lakes-increase-risk-coastal-erosion
  15. That's why the 12 thousand footers have to stay on the upper lakes they can't get through the Welland canal at 740 feet.
  16. 8.2 m above Montreal. Like I said, I've observed 27ft in the channel. Those ships will never come above Montreal without dredging and plan 2014 hasnt even come into play yet with these water levels. Take off the tinfoil hat and look at facts.
  17. Static build up could be coming from 1 of 2 spots. It could be in the tubes or it actually could be in the powder. There really is not a clean way to get rid of it since you would need to keep the static from building once you have packed the tubes anyway. in the offseason you can try to pack them in the anti static bags from electrical or computer gear or you can try to do the water/fabric softener solution wash after season and then leave them out to dry but I am not one to add more chemicals to the volume measured powder that you are using. The amount of powder that is stuck in the tube is not going to manipulate the performance of the sabot enough to worry about.

    Bay Of Quinte

check out the Quinte board you should find several. There are hut rentals Dave Chatterton of Fishfinder Charters has huts in the Belleville Trenton area. There are guides that use portable huts and move around to put you on fish. Stacy Ash of Pro Tackle in Belleville is a good resource to get the latest info on the Bay. To my thinking there is an evening bite and a morning bite and is not somewhere I would want to sit in a hut all day.. http://forum2.quintefishing.com/index.php
  19. I'm using the charge tubes from Blackhorn. They are plastic and when I go to pour the powder out some of the little pellets cling to the inside. Anyone else have this problem with the tubes your using?
