The part in question is the fuel pump & the O-Ring #18 that seals it to the valve cover is the probable cause of the leak. http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Yamaha/Outboard/2004/T9.9ELRC/FUEL%201/parts.html -

It's an NK 2D or 3D spoon depending on length I do believe. There weren't a lot of them made and have been discontinued for some time now. -

As of last fall Raymarine was still repairing or exchanging the older linear drive 1 units. Worth a call to find out if they still are.

The last Force engines produced were 1999. Might want to check the model/serial # for the exact year marc. -

Remount the ducer ahead of the props in clean water flow & you should be all set.
