  2. Ice: Do your self a favor and take it to someone that knows what's going on. All your going to do is thro money at it and probably still have the same problem's. For an hour's time if that to have it looked at labor wise it could save a lot of $$. There are a lot of good and reputable marinas out your way.
  3. What bay were you fishing out of. Numbers :?:
  4. No snubbers here & never a problem. The only difference from Yankee is I set the drags with just enough tension to hold them. It you can hear it clicking out every now and then your in good shape.
  5. Don't be knockin the old captain's. Been runnin the side's that way for year's only difference is I run a small dipsy cranked over to 3 1/2 with no ring.
  6. Ck Your e-mail
  7. All the above are good recommandations. But 1st check for spark at the plug on both cyl's. Then a compression ck on both cylinder's. Seem's that after 4 year's and no boat I would think about taking it to a reputable repair shop and have it checked out I'm sure they will tell you the strait scoop in a short amount of time.
  8. Pm me I've got 2 cannons in good shape.
  9. fishoutta_water: Must of missed you this weekend. How was the fishing and the concert.
  10. Great post Rob. The smiles on your children's face's tell's it all.
  11. Ray your killin me bub. LMAO Don't think Bob will get even when he get's back from carp fishin do ya? Specaly after having to wear thongs. That's your job I thought.
  12. Another good and reasonable man is Ira. http://www.digitalmarinesurveys.com/ He is close to you also.
  13. This thread might help you out some: http://www.lakeontariounited.com/fishin ... php?t=5601
  14. Sometimes things happen. I'm sure they'll pressure test it and check everything over for ya. You probably already know but make sure it's in forward gear when you pull it & reinstall it.
  15. Rod: Thanks for editing that post. There is no reason to list names until you know what the problem is and the out come.
  16. Ray your killin me. Almost lost a good swig a keystone over that one. lmao
  17. Your right Mark. I haven't run copper but if I were to, I'd talk to Tom 1st. The knowledge and support are worth the extra money saved by going to e-bay or somewhere else.
  18. What a B-Buster.
  19. 15# Big Game green with a leader in the spring & early summer till the fleas show up. Then 30# BG with 15 or 20# Seafloren leader.
  20. John: Take the time to run a line as I said above. It"ll save a lot of problems down the road.
  21. John: Before you go moving things. Run a dedicated fused power line to the vhf from the battery instead of both units running off the same fuse block.
  22. Beat me to the punch Bill. You type faster.
  23. Maybe a thank you to Bill would of been a bit more appropriate for his time looking into it for everyone. They are willing to replace them with the updated cords at no charge. Instead of shipping them. Why don't you ck for a dealer nearest you or where you fish and make arrangements with them beforehand to have them replaced.
