  7. Thats the way the cookie crumbles!!
  8. Play with the rope to get the length right. From the front of the otter boat to the knot to the rear of the otter boat. Some of the other guys can post the length of the front and rear of the rope,
  9. Lost the drain plug on the run out to 9-mile one morning. Our motor looked like yours. The starter failed a couple of weeks later. Guess its insides didn't like being pressure washed with the water coming off of the flywheel. Glad you have a story to tell and nothing worse!!
  10. Should put it at the end of the skirt.
  11. The line streach with the long leads don't help either. That mono has a lot of give for that length of lead.
  12. Beads go on top of the hook then the fly . I put them on with the skirt wide flareing out over the threads on the fly head. You can play with bead colors , add rattles or floats. I have about a 22 to 24" lead from the top of the fly to the top of the loop of the leader . Thats with a E-chip.
  13. Can't remember the name , but there is a bar on the opposite side of the road near there that has good food. I think its back toward 4 mile brick looking place.
  14. The LJ #1 is what most use. The smaller #0 is used for shallower fish, the walleye guys like them. There are walker deeper divers and larger rings and other options.
  15. Use Ray K's spell checker and no one would know if they were not spelled right
  16. Love my 7' roller fish dr. rods, Haven't put the long rods in the boat in years.

    Cayuga 6/10/13

Got out for awhile this AM till the rain and wind picked up . Got a few lakers and a bunch of Landlocks . Biggest laker about 6# and one legal landlock. Caught the smallest landlock I have ever got . That little rascal was about 6" long. These are the R & R that were the heros The Magenta shad hit the landlocks , The green shad and the green ladderback took both the lemon lime took lakers. 4 & 5 color core off the big boards, riggers down 25 and 40 ' Fished from long pt. south on the eastside. 120' of water most of the time.
  18. Should give you quite the tan when out in the full sun all day They have a colored rubber coating , like rinocoat you use in your pickup bed that might work. You would want the marine foam to put back , its closed cell and fuel proof (sorta) where the lowe's stuff isn't.
  19. I changed over to big jon's dipsie holders . bolted them through the gunnel where the titelocks were.
