  1. Thanks for the congrats Carl and everyone! It was a good first tourny/event for me and my boat. The day was kind of a blur but my guys both am and pm had a great time. I set up in search mode right of front in 100 and had my first mate put the Raymarine AP on a NW we set up in 120 and worked that out to 140 through most the day. The fish seemed to be high but then we would take a good shot on a 300 diver so we spread our gear throughout the column with different sections of core, 4 divers, 3 riggers. Alot of fish brought to the boat along with some dropped in the morning session with half a dozen kings to 14-15 lbs hitting the deck and as many lakers as you wanted/didnt want For the afternoon trip we fished the same water as the morning except we stayed around our king waypoints, and it payed off with this girl taking a spoon off a 3 color core run off our otter boards towards the end of the day. I will never forget the sight of that fish showin up sharking off the corner and trying to get into my divers--and when it finally hit the deck --THUD!!! The fish ended up weighing 26 lbs and won Team Villager Construction and I the Tightlines Overall Big fish award! I want to thank all the Captains and their crews that participated and Warren Welch and his guys behind it- Great event and I look forward to next year!! On a side note the brand New Traxtech downriggers performed flawlessly all day and came out looking amazing. The extra effort Jeff and his crew at Traxtech have put into these additions to my arsenal were well worth it!

  7. Thanks guys! I cant wait till I get my riggers and I can go out and do some damage for a whole day!! YT- Big Kings and Big Chrome I can deal with that! Corey - Thanks man, you too take good care of the Lund!
  8. After getting everything done on the to do list and finally a good weather forecast we set up this past Saturday to Move the new Boat from Sodus Bay at Krenzers Marine to Oak Orchard for her stay this season. Everything went smoothly and we even snuck in some fishing along the way! Boat ran great and we got to see the gorgeous shoreline view the whole way. After a brief break in Irondequoit Bay to see some family and take them for a boat ride we ended up back on our way and doing some fishing in and around the Sandy Creek area. We ran 6 rods off the otter boards working from 6-25 ft of water in search of a bonus pod of kings but ended up with a dozen or so all BTs up to 8 lbs hitting the deck with a handful more that didnt. Had a couple double headers, slimed up the deck for the first time and got another day and experience under my belt with owning/operating a bigger boat. The new riggers are set to arrive from Traxtech this week and those are going to be getting installed ASAP when they arrive. All of these reports of kings are making the urge to get out even stronger.... Here are a few pictures and were off
  9. I have 3 brand new ones that I have for sale! Check your PM
  10. These guys pretty much nailed it. I havent targeted the walleyes in conesus in awhile but the few we have gotten, my father and I were accidents trolling for northerns and tiger muskie. Using inline boards and large stickbaits contouring the deeper edges. When you get one its a bonus fish and the ones we have caught were in the 8 lbs + range. After you learn the lake a bit try them at night and you should have the best shot at dialing them in a bit. Let us know how you are doing.
