  1. I like the 20# fleaflicker (Its alot more user friendly than the 30#) and i run it on my rigger rods. It really works great against the fleas.
  2. Sweet catch! I would of probably never hit it but im sure theres plenty of people who would have (including yourself). im sure the guys that dock up the creek would appreciate you removing it.

  8. I like greater separation between the two. I usually run a 6' leader for the cheater, 8-12' above the ball, and 15- 25' lead on the lower spoon.

  14. I run them and I think they work great for flatlining mono. Anything beyond that is a challenge.
  15. With all other things being the same, I think hands down a hard top is the way to go. Canvas is not cheap. I spent over $1700 on all new canvas last year. You can bet that my next boat will be a hard top!
  16. leadcore is the answer your looking for. It works great in that range and works great off the boards too.

    Batteries

    Chowder, I wouldnt replace both bateries unless you have to. Most auto parts stores have battery testers to check the condition of your batteries and Id recommend it before replacing them. I seem to be on a 2-3 year replacement cycle with batteries and I always make sure to put the fresh battery in as the starting battery.
  19. Fishing for Fun, Yeah Im a fan of the challenger sticks. They have put some fish on the boat over the past fours years or so that ive been using them including the brownie on saturday.
