  1. What kind of boat did you get Joe? You must be a happy camper.
  2. (2) Penn330gti reels fully loaded w/ 10 colors of lead, backing and leader. They are ready to be put on poles and fish. The reels are about 3-4 years old and are $100 a piece brand new. They include a parts list and proof of "new" purchase price. The only reason for getting rid of them is I'm switching to the Diawa57lc. $80.00 each or $150.00 for both.
  3. I think it makes me more NUTS than you cheap.
  4. Or you can buy a spin doctor for every fly. Wind the fly around the spinny and then put them in the spin doctor storage containers. Does this sound like someone you know Rob?
  5. Hey gator, If you want info on the perch tourny april 12th, pm me. Paul and I donate every year to that. We'll fish 1 or 2 weekends before the tourny also.
  6. thanx seasquirrel. Run the plastics about 1-2" of the mainline. 2 of them. It sounds like I know something but I still stink too much on that lake. I need more time on it.
  7. Legacy was one of the 2 freinds I mentioned. Rob, I was replyony the same time as you. I also see we BOTH are off work today. Was gonna fish tomorrow but have to work now.
  8. On the other end of the spectrum I've heard very good things about f.f. line and I spooled 5 reels up already for the summer. 2 freinds told me that what negative's you heard about the line were not true and they liked it. But then their's billyv's story. I guess I hope I made the right move. I was sick of putting diff. line on come July. I'll still have 6 rods w/ 14# till then. Yankee troller really like his 25# mean green year round and I guess he doesn't have much of a flea problem at all.
  9. Seasquirell, I have a buddy w/ a cottage just north of lodi and watches the guys catch fish there. Where do you put your weight on and how far behind the mainline is your teardrop? Also try dragging 2" plastics above a heavy sinker. I know a couple guys that do well w/ that.
  10. Ditto to what legacy said. I've never had a problem and their's no screwing w/ a rubber band when a fish comes in on the main line. I don't stack alot, but when I do, that's what I use.
  11. Jerry, I think in a few years your daughter will be answering these questions and not you. From what my dad said, she kicked your arse fishing perch a couple of weeks ago!
  12. Blk/slvr evil eye and a fishlander dark purple w/ chart. on 1 outside edge.
  13. Most of the time it's in the middle of my spread.
  14. I told you I was good.
  15. Small Hi-techs of the boards work grrrrrrreat! Slow troll or they'll be surfing.
  16. Havn't any of you guys noticed fleas the last 2 years on your 30# line? The last 2 years I had to use 40# and it worked. 30# was loaded w/ fleas. Apparently their is a new strain of flea out there that is bigger. I'm going to have 5 rods w/ 20# fleaflicker and 5 rods w/ my 14# big game. No more screwing around w/ fishing line when july hits. My suggestion is to put 20# fleaflicker w/ 15# floro leader on your two rods until the end of june then run straight fleaflicker from july till the end of the season.
  17. 4 of us today. 3 perch guys and one pike guy. 45 perch and no pike. Fatheads on tip-downs and some on horizontal jigs. Size was down compared to a couple of weeks ago. Everyone going back to their cars said they got about squat.

    IBay

Their was a couple dozen out there when I went over the bridge at 4pm. Not good.
  19. I have a feeling tuesday's weather is going to beat it up pretty bad. Too bad, we've been doing better there lately.
  20. At least next time we know where to start. Trying to find landmarks in the dark sucked.
  21. It all has to do w/ what is popular at a certain time. Right now a ton of people are caught up in the popularity of flies right now. Their was a time when at least half of your spread were j-plugs. The more a certain product is in the water, the more chance we will see leaderboard fish caught on them. Run what you do the best with at tournament time. Practice and experiment when it's not.
  22. No pike and I didn't see one caught by anyone. 2 of us kept 7 nice perch but the fishing was painfully slowwwww. The wind sucked too!
  23. (3) Penn Fathom Master rigger rods. 8-15# Graphite and 8.5'. $15 each or $40 for all. 5000yd spool of 14# cajun red mono. $25
  24. Bill, Navionics Gold full lake ontario- XLUS648XL Phone # is 1-800-848-5896 This was purchased 2 years ago. Hope this helps.
  25. When we bought gold, it only came w/ one chip and the contour lines were included. This was about 1-2 years ago. I'll call my dad and confirm this info. He has everything at his house.
