  1. Capt. Vinny Does the LOCBA have anyway to combat this stupidity? We need to get together and let our voices be heard. In your opinion what is the best way, realistically, to unite the people? I ask these questions because I'm aware of your time and involvement in these types of issues. Far as I'm concerned enough is enough and the best way to battle these a-holes is to get the people together and make noise. Thats the only way. Glen
  2. Rid the State goverment of corruption and stop the handouts to people who never worked a day in their lives AND WHO ARE MORE THAN CAPABLE to work and you would find the State would have plenty of money to function without being in the hole. These threats of reduced money to law enforcement and public education show you what kind of people are in office. Bring the taxes down and attract industy rather than rapeing it until it leaves. Now they are doing everything they can to kill the fishing industy. Higher fees and less services. Use the power of the VOTE and get them the hell outa there. Glen
  3. Got to get these clowns out of office. Let your state senators and congressmen know how you feel about it. Glen
  4. They seem to like my scent. My crew on the other hand are kinda stinky and they seem to repell the fish. So I guess it all depends on the particular human. Glen
  5. I've been running Shakespear Ugly Sticks for quite a few years and they work great for Browns and should be good for Walleye as well. You can still enjoy the battle of a smaller Brown but have taken a few Kings by accident on them. Too light for the Kings but they held up. Model # BWD 1101 8" 3" light action. Line weight 6-20 lbs. At $50.00 a rod I am very pleased with them. Glen
  6. Good question Shade. I was wondering the same thing. Glen
  7. You can fish the mouth of the Salmon in a small boat BUT anything coming out of the west will build and you'll be taking them broadside running parallel to the shoreline. Oswego like Musky said is a better bet if theres any wind. Glen
  8. Congratulations there young man. Thats a fine looking boat and you'll have alot of fun with her. Glen
  9. DITTO. Would LOVE to fish that one. Glen
  10. Sorry that picture is to small to see. I'll try it again. This picture was a double that me and Chris (Traveling Man) got one day. My wife insited on taking a picture while she was laughing her a_ _ off. Remeber those monsters Chris? "I think I got one" "I think I got one too" Glen
  11. You are correct to a point Sean. Heres a couple small Brown tails. Heres the Seneca Mystery fish tails. Combined with the pictures of the short jaws they are landlocks. Glen
  12. OK thanks Lakebound88. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. Glen
  13. Ya I know. Towed the boat home to many times in snow and ice from out there. Makes for a longggg slowwww ride. Is the launch at Taugonock still iced in? Keep me posted if you can. Thanks Glen
  14. Cowder did you go out today? Also you guys that went out on Seneca yesterday, did you hit any big landlocks? I'm thinking about taking a long ride out for next weekend. Thanks Glen
  15. You gave yourself the accurate answere with the shots of the tails and the jaws relative to the eye. Glen
  16. Check this boat out. viewtopic.php?f=10&t=14854. Reel recomendations would depend on what you want to spend and what type of fish you are looking to catch. Glen
  17. Happy Birhtday Stan. Keep those pictures comming. Glen
  18. The jaw stops short of the back of the eye and the tails are forked. Both landlocks. Look at how the jaw runs past the back of the eye on the Browns in your picture Sting. Glen
  19. but i'm sure that most of the time spoons are the better option Not necessarily. There have been plenty of days that I watched Browns on the FF swim up to the spoons and not hit um and had that stickbait running behind take most of the fish for the day. Especially after the bite is over and the fish are shut down late in the morning on sunny days. I like Rapala floaters in size 11 for this type of situation. They will run about 3 to 4 feet below the ball at 40 -60 ft lead. Glen
