  1. The dogs were great today....... the ole heart starts pounding when you hear them headed your way. They are a pair of the hardest running and friendliest hounds you could ever want to hunt with......
  2. Nice.............. you spend way too much time on the water. I love the tuna pic with the wave in the background................
  3. They're not hard to do, but do take some time............. I had a nice buck ruined by a local taxi, looked like he left it out in the yard for 2 months and then rubbed the antlers with used cooking oil (they actually smelled like fries), after that I learned how to....... I think you get a pretty good product doing it via youtube methods, and you can take some pride in knowing that you did it yourself. I've done whitetails, fox, and coyotes..... and they turn out just fine.
  4. spurs..... that first picture of the dog with the sunrise belongs on the cover of a magazine...... great shot.
  5. The Oak typically has some perch in it...... the lower stretches around the park
  6. No I didn't stop there..... used fatheads, and they worked fine.
  7. Well, no I-Bay report, but the fishing was good out of the Catt on Erie today..... I decided to fish Erie, and did well on perch.
  8. Any recent reports from I-Bay?......... thinking about some vacation tomorrow and possibly looking for perch.
  9. Awsome................ very nice work.
  10. Great Idea! Your description of fishing the deep water takes me there just sitting here.............
  11. http://www.mynbc5.com/article/woman-finds-coyote-embedded-in-cars-grille-after-20-mile-drive/12226120 New meaning to 'lucky dog".
  12. On lake Erie, you'll see more of the the "prickly pear" style of flea....... they're spiny water fleas and no where near as troublesome on fishing lines. On Ontario, we see more of the difficult to deal with type...... fishhook water fleas. But, once the fishhook numbers start to go down, you'll see some of the spinys on Ontario too I'm guessing that the fishhook variety is more cold water tolerant, and a way bigger pita.
  13. The launches at the Fort are no problem to launch from..... We launched there this morning. 7 fish, one steelhead, one coho, one atlantic, and the balance kings, but nothing over 15 lbs..... lots of traffic at the can.......
  14. I'm thinking the ones that have been visiting already think your approach is aggressive enough! Well, check that....... most of them aren't breathing anymore, let alone thinking.... I had not heard about the incident. It's amazing how bold they get in the offseason........
  15. Fort Niagara Launch Conditions Does anyone have a report on the conditions of the launches at the Fort? Are they open and safely usable at current water levels?
