  2. Nice alantic! Congrads [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  3. Just An update. I hooked the fuel line directly to the fuel pump. Also replaced the bulb and fuel line to 5/16th. There was no chAnge. If i put the the 5 gal tank high it worked fine, but if I put the tank on the ground it would quit pretty Quick! I noticed the piss port water discharge wAs a rainbow color on the ground. I think it is my fuel pump. There must be a hole in the diaphragm and fuel is leaking through it into the water cooling chamber. that's my guess. So I ordered one and have my fingers crossed! 4. Yes. I opened my the gas cap also to make sure it was not it. I'm heading home now to directly connect the fuel line to the fuel pump on the kicker to eliminate any restrictions from the male and female connections. No one Has a fuel pump in stock or I would replace it. The fuel pump does look good though [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  5. The other thing I failed to mention is that I did take the check valve off and put a barbed end on. It too did not work. I guess at this point I'm going to travel to some Yamaha service center today and ask for their opinions
  6. As of right now I have my main engine disconnected from my gas tank and have the kicker motor connected to the gas tank instead. I have a brand new fuel line and I still can't get it to pump fuel with out me pumping the bulb. I checked every seal and it all seems to be great but just not working.
  7. I have found that Sharp hooks are a must The other thing I suggest is to tighten your releases or use a heavier release. I don't ever set the hook. The release and fish usually do all the work. But as mentioned early sharp hooks and I don't even pull the rod out of the rod holder untill the slack is out of the line. I just do a quick power reel to all the slack is out.
  8. I have a 2003 yamaha 15hp 4stroke that I am trying to tie into my main fuel tank. After a long staking process of elimination I directly hooked the 6' 3/8 fuel line to the main port of the main 61gal fuel tank. After pumping the bulb again the motor would not stay running if I did not continue to pump fuel to it. Now I did take a 5 gallon fuel tank at put the hose into the tank and it ran fine. I then took the port off the main fuel tank and placed it into the 5 gallon fuel tank and it ran for sometime boat slowly died. The intake port to the main fuel tank is about a half an inch wide. It just seems that the motor has reached its pumping compacity. Im just not sure what to do at this point. Smaller diameter hose, new fuel pump or something else? Please help!

  10. Nice ride Chris! I see you got her all broken in already! Glad to hear you got your boat back Sean. I like that storage drawers holding your HDS 5. That has got to be pretty handy.
  11. As it was pointed out to me it is better to run your copper on the boards. When it is on the boards any slight turn will greatly effect the action of the copper. When you run it down the chute the copper travels at the exact same speed as the boat. I ran my copper last year down the chute and did well but it was always in the way. Now I have them on the boards and I am loving it.
  12. Scott, just for you I corrected my earlier post! I don't want to confuse any out of towners Thanks Nitro, Now I can't plead to the Officer of my ignorance
  13. Longpoint and Cass are the only options right now! The debrie on the water is starting to look a little better but the water level is still extremely high.
  14. Here is a picture of the boat launch at Allan H. Treman State Marine Park.

  16. I drove by Owasco today and it was glass. Other than the rain it must have been a perfect day for fishing I'm jealous of that steelhead. WTG
  17. I bought this a month ago at the Yamaha dealer, Oneida Lake Marina, for a $150 used. He told me it was the heavy duty 4stroke model. At first glance it does look like it and I did not notice the top sticker. So I looked it up online http://www.garelick.com/product.php?pnumber=71033 and it is on the limit of what I need so I just ordered what I orginaly was looking for and so I am looking to sell this one. I would like to to get my money back 150 for it. I am willing to ship it if need be. I'm located in Newfield, NY. I'm planning on going to Basspro tomorrow afternoon. If that helps. My #is 607 351 2137. You can call me anytime or PM. I will be up all night.
