  2. Welcome! Keep reading...check the reports section for your area of the lake. Seems like the king salmon are out in the 200-300 depth now on the south shore. [ Post made via iPhone ]

  4. If your doors were locked...how did they get in your car? Was a window open? Did they break a window? I will have to say I have lived in many counties in NY. Theirs crime/theft in all of them. I had a high dollar performance exhaust system stolen off my car as it sat in my driveway. This was in Cayuga county. Theft is everywhere. You gotta cover up your valuables man. I'm sure your po and all...and I feel your pain! But **** happens. You can't tell me you would leave valuables out in the open in Albany. Theirs good people in Oswego county...and theirs trash...just like in every county in NY. [ Post made via iPhone ]
  5. That's about the same place I have mine mounted. Then I have tite-lok rod holders for dipseys where he has the plastic rod holders mounted ahead of the riggers. In a 17ft you really only have room to comfortably run 2 riggers and 2 dipseys. I just bought copper set-ups and otter boards. My boat is jammed with all of it in the water. It's almost too much. I usually don't even mess with the junk lines and just run the riggers and dipseys. [ Post made via iPhone ]
  6. Just curious if your doors were locked? Was stuff in plain sight? I fish up there all the time. But I always lock everything in my car and if something is valuable...cover it up with a jacket or something. Knock on wood...I've never had any trouble. I fish sometimes 2-3 times a week. Sorry it happened to you. Hopefully they catch the dirt bags and u get your stuff back. [ Post made via iPhone ]
  7. I aim for 2.5-2.9 gps and watch the bend in my dipsey rods. Then adjust accordingly. [ Post made via iPhone ]

  10. East bay can be good too. Not sure how you can fish it. You could walk the beach from Dutch st. [ Post made via iPhone ]
  11. You def want to avoid having to stand up on that casting deck to set your riggers...especially in rough seas. [ Post made via iPhone ]
  12. I would buy Bert's tracks with risers for the riggers. Then you can move them around and see where you like them. I mounted mine permanently just in front of the casting deck. With a rod holder a little behind it and one in front of it closer to the windshield for dipsey rods. I wished I would have bought the tracks so I could adjust. [ Post made via iPhone ]
  13. I think they will stay. What are they going to go west and then back east again in August? They are going deeper now and not all schooled up in 40 feet like a month ago. [ Post made via iPhone ]
  14. Nice ride big water! Did u sell the Lowe? [ Post made via iPhone ]
  15. It's almost safer to go out a little deeper...you won't hit a rock Rosing your prop. Theirs still guys fishing the shallows tho. Run sticks off boards and spoons off riggers with long leads. You might get a walleye too. The guys are fishing them at night now. [ Post made via iPhone ]
  16. Prolly depends on what u r going to run on them. [ Post made via iPhone ]
