  1. Masie, from what little I know Tom is right typically they are higher, but I've also heard it's important that they are close like within 5% of each other. I'm assuming it has a lot of hours on the motor? Might be time for rings etc, but like what was suggested, someone else might have some suggestions Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  2. Dual pro. Bass pro No problem. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  3. Trorun, there's been some dialogue a while back about all batteries being made by one manufacturer, labeled with different names. I went with I think ever start from Walmart like 4 yrs ago, never really had much luck keeping them good until 4 yrs ago. Big difference, on board charger, plug it in when I get the boat home, keep it plugged until I'm ready, and during the winter. Batteries have been as good as new. For what it's worth. 4. Id have to check but typically that might be lamprey control in Dresden. Not sure why it would to Lodi. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  5. Thanks Les for the update. I think from all of us were glad hes ok, and with the work that sounds like needs to be done, I wouldn't want him to rush it, that's one nice rig, and I know its going to be a struggle not to be out in it while its getting worked on, as signalman offered and as others including me, if Im out and you would like to get out Ed, your more than welcome.
  6. Sorry to hear Ed, glad your ok, as mentioned the boat can be repaired..... Hope everything works out ok. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  7. Way to John, nice report. I think you have up until Thursday with cash. You might want to touch base with like Krenzers though. Good luck to you if you get in it. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  8. Just remember that you have to have the positive lead correct otherwise it will be another bad board. I have the wirring schematic somehwhere if you need it. Had to change mine out a couple years ago. Green wire is your ground to pass counductivity to your cable. I would at least check that to make sure that has it. Its connected to your motor housing. You should be able to touch that and your cable to see the connection.
  9. Man you make it look so easy. As with the other pros that post so much info on here, it's a big thank you from us amateurs trying to learn everything we can with the little time we have on the water. I really appreciate your reports. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  10. Nice report. Yes, lampreys for me as well. Damn near the biggest I've seen. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  12. Well, chores were done, do I go to Seneca and pre fish for FLTA, or go to a flat glass LO where I could maybe hook a king or two. Mmmmm. Away I went. Hit the flat lake at 530pm set up in 150. Temp seemed to be at 60. Rigger went at 65. Small skippy. Dipsey ripped a bit later at 190. Two more rigger bites teenagers Then the 400 copper which felt a fat laker came off half way up. Good to things starting to woken up. All spoons. Green. Frogger colors. Good luck to all on Seneca tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  13. Nice fish you guys. Great report. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  14. Glad to see you in the full picture Les! Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  15. I think the tips from the top guys out there that were given seem to make a whole lot of sense. When you think about it, and what I learned this past winter from these guys is spend your time finding the Kings less time monkeying with rods trolling through dead seas. If your dead set on having a rod down the shoot go get a 300 or 400 copper other than that I like the two rigger rods and two dipsey attack plan. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  16. If you take the cover off you'll see a green wire (ground) from the main circuit board bolted to the motor. With out this making contact the auto stop feature will not work. Other than that or the cable not making ground through the spool to the motor it would be the board is fried. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  17. Cool pic Dan. Love the reports. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  18. Great report. Thanks for posting! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  19. Had one land on my brothers roof, I think they should rethink the use of these. Wait till we hit a dry season and the potential for fire starter. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  20. Try Buggsspray. I would not leave home without it. Works great. I have no affiliation with them. Someone from here turned me on to it Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  21. Nice report Les ! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  22. Here's what I ended up doing. I put a series of whites and blues led throughout the boat and installed a single led in the corner with a switch. I turn it on when I'm setting up to charge. Flashlight works too but I was always using it for something and when I needed it. Gone. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  23. John, just to add, if your having some tough mornings, I wouldn't be afraid to move on over to Cayuga for a morning. It's dead west of where you are and a launch there Deans Cove is easy access. I know it's nice to get up and get in the boat on Seneca right there at camp, but it just might make the difference.
