ok, so how does everyone set their drag and test their drag to see if it is "about right"..Honestly, I have no idea what kind of tension I should have on the drag....
My Berts tracks come in tomorrow. they were on backorder. talk about a downer when I get the two rod holders but find a note that says the tracks are on backorder allow 2-3 weeks! It wasent even a week and they are on their way!

The guy that gave me his two Mag 10A downriggers had a nice 20' Grady White weekender. HE had an autopilot on it. was one of the older ones that attached to the steering wheel. He would flip a switch and it would contact the wheel and steer. don't know what it was called though. I do know it was before GPS though!

I have a 221V Islander and now that I have been out on the water with her a few times I am confident in its ability to handle some water. Its a big boat though, about as big as Iwould want to travel on land any distance. Being aluminum much easier though. If you want a cuddy style boat, the Islander is the ticket. I have a 10A. Unfortunatly, I do not have the plug that stays on the boat. I have since been told that I have to buy a new wiring kit and rewire the Mag 10A rigger.. Is there a way around this? Its like $60 a pop and I have 2
