  1. Hey john,we gave up on Browns and just played with lakers out by the plant.fished between the red building and the stack wed. And Thursday.picked at them, had a good screen from time to time.other than that it's been tough.only bonus was a 13lb king solo on wed.fished 80 to 150 fow.best was riggers at 60 and 70 down.300 copper took a couple also.
  2. Like lily said, you want to use s.s. Wire for dipsies, blood run or torpedo are two companies that make it.we run ours on 30 series line counters.1000 ft of wire with no backing fills the reel perfect.twilly tip on the rod.just tie a loop in the wire and run it through the eye of a snap swivel and pull the swivel back through the loop.we run a mono leader as long as the rod length from the dipsey to your lure of choice.blood run has a depth chart to give you an idea of amount of line out to the running depth of the dipsey.when letting the dipsey out.let it out slowly.
  3. Keep an eye on the reports, things can change quick, but like jusgrinnin said,we spent 5 days on the water and not much to show for it.some lakers in front of the plant 80 to 120 fow.
  4. YOU GOT THAT RIGHT!!!!two weeks ago we fished all weekend and never moved a rod,but it still was better then working.looks like the weather is going to get better as the week goes on and even better for the loc.

  7. fished today from 8 to 1.went 4 for 10.not great, but alot better then last weekend!!!fished from dowie dale to cat fish.water was mostly 47 with 49 degree water just before catfish.no mud,but a decent stain.fished 10 to 15 fow.fished more sticks than spoons than normal, wanted to fish a bit slower.spoons on the riggers, had 1 release on an nbk,but nobody home.goby bay rat saw the most action, then a rapala jointed perch and a jointed silver and black, not sure what make.i ran up to fat nancies last night to grab a goby bay rat and took the last one they had.all the other flavors were 4 and 5 deep.hmmmmm.hope they get more in!!!!!
