Sorry to here of the slow bite but thanks for the report been wondering whats going on there there has been a real lack of reports lately .Last time i went to oswego there were 20 boats and the only report was mine .

I just catch a salmon and use its hide for my meat rigs on the next trip works for me.

the owner to a hunting camp next to my property got busted for hunting deer over a bait pile 100 dollar fine what a joke no loss of license !

I would think the fish have moved in by now just waiting for some good weather then i will give it a go again .The fish have been really on then of with this weather pattern here on champlain water has been getting colder by the day .

As a new guide my self he got a slap on the wrist he is supposed to be setting a example to other fellow sportsmen and as much as i like watching his videos he does like to here him self talk .And i must say it was cool watching his boat pass by last sept well we were fighting a double of kings ! I really do hate the baiting issue i had 32 major bait piles for deer located by fish and game last year within a mile of my property last year all it does is over harvest young deer and educate mature bucks .

Well i am no expert on kings or the wind and current i have done alot of fishing in my life and the one biggest factor i use to get on fish is the birds and it is the most reliable tactic i have found weather i am on the ocean or the big lake .I wont follow the fleet of boats but will allways stay with turns ,gulls,loans and commerants weather they are sitting in a area or working that area .The first thing i do when heading out to the fishing grounds is make a plan and well under way i start looking and never stop all day when i see birds thats were i head and set up there will be bait and fish . I use a good pair of binos to help locate them you only need a few .GOOD LUCK

Henderson was wondering what is going on at henderson like fishing there but last time i was there it was a ghost town any any browns or salmon to be found ?

Fished from the can at ford shoal to outside the stacks just west of harbor 80 feet of water and most bites were in the top 25 feet .

Oswego 9 FOR 11 Went to Oswego for the first time ever went solo client could not go last minute turned into a scouting mission for me so started inside and had a look around slowly worked my way out till i found bait and lots of good marks .From there it was time to figure out the bight tried a bunch of programs anded up with 3 double hook ups with brown /king combo each time also got a steely and a coho and lost 2 .Best fish was 7 lb brown and 5.25 steely nico coho and small/med kings .Program that seemed to work was very long leads and top of the water column with small spoons like sutton 41 and johnson slimfish in gold /white perch pattern fish did not want big spoons at all .MUST BE SMALLER BAIT THIS TIME OFF YEAR ! Lots of boats out deeper but i went out twice to have a look and was not liking the action or the amount of fish kept going back inside and getting fish there . Never saw any other boat with a fish on i am sure they caught but i didnt see it had 80 feet all to my self it was nice .

spoon pads? Sick of fighting with spoons all over they place looking for opinions on amish outfitters spoon pads .Looks like they might be worth a try nd do they come with the bag to close the hole pad in ?

i have a helix 7 and side imaging is a wast of money you cant see fish screen is way to small plus you need to mount on a trolling motor or a pole and wont work of you transom.I have heard you need at least a 12 inch!
