    I will tell you when i use sent i will put it on the flasher and lure and when i boat a fish i will rub the fish slim and blood all over both .

    Talked with a guy at the boat launch 3 weeks ago said he caught 37 lake trout out there i was like wow great job man then this past tuesday ran into him again asked him if he slayed them out there today he replied yaa caught 37 lake trout and 4 kings .All i could do at that point is laugh my ass of to myself . My buddy had a saying all fisherman are liars except for you and me and sometimes i wounder about you ! HOW TRUE LOL

    Great to see them biting there is plenty of fish and bait there just need to hit it right when there in the mode to eat it wont be long and they will really stack up in the trench .I wont be back out for about 2 weeks but after that will be hitting it hard

    Just picked up a 8lb 130 down over 300 with a superbait behind a mt dew flasher . Just set for kings and put on some bright colored cheaters above and you will catch what wants to eat color does not really mean alot after 60 feet ck out a under water depth color chart and you will see how fast bright colors fade to gray .

    There were hooks out of temp at Oswego as well and the 18 lb male i caught was allready starting to get dark.

    I am thinking that i am not really happy with the detail on my current navionics card if you want to send me contact info the next time i am in henderson i could give you a call if still for sale and ck it out if it is any better i would give you the 100 your asking for thanks eric.

    yup that was me now that you say that i remember the name on the boat did you guys find any fish feeding ?

    You need to get temp prob it changes one day to the next and location plus you want to sets lines in and around that break you will be amazed as to how much it will help .

    Henderson launch is good and lots of good hooks out by the wall and finger and plenty off bait fished 4 hours tuesday am in 4 footers solo not even a bump off think front shut them down . Did well sunday evening and monday morning out of Oswego on the 140 curve caught fish 130 down due to temp was deep and broken . Screen and temps were way better at henderson but if they have lock jaw its tough to put them in the boat temp break was around 90 feet and very stable . Talked with one old timer told me he couldnt even catch perch !

    Henderson temp break? Heading out to lake o was going to fish henderson just a much cleaner place then Oswego but sounds like temp break has gone deep does anybody have a recent report of temp around the finger area was up at 50 2 weaks ago and caught 6 kings there i dont mind fishing deep but dont want to go out to the shipping lanes to find temp.

    i you fish out of henderson launch watch your boat clearance going under the bridge at the cut its been a little tight this year with high water .

    caught 6 kings at the finger 2 weaks ago temp break was at 50 feet does sounds like it has gone down to 90 feet now anyone have a recent report for temp break near the finger .

    My last trip spin doc with spoon 5 to 6 feet behind caught the most fish and biggest fish out fished meat and flasher fly .

    I make a point of never rushing them to the net just keep them swimming a couple feet under the surface when he is ready they will swim right to you to many hooks pull with them thrashing on the surface .

    Wow 90 down pretty deep for a steelhead temps must have changed a lot i was there 2 weeks ago and temp break was at 50 caught 6 kings in the break lost 3 and a bunch of knock offs.

    Thats what they make those big 12 oz sinkers for lol and flare guns your lucky the idiot didnt run you over i have had to power my boat out of the way of other boats well on anchor . Idiots are everywhere !

    Sorry note familiar with that area but the end of august and sept kings will be staging so any major river running into the lake should have kings holding at the mouth of the river waiting to go spawn .If you follow this sight you should find some helpfully info if all else fails book a salmon charter in you area to help speed up you learning curve good luck.

    Spin doctor look alike Saw a video of a spin doctor type fish attractor that has a hinged tail on it trying to find the name of it as well as were might they be able to be purchased at was very impressed by its action .THANKS

    Once you catch your first fish fillet that bad boy and cut your own meat strips from the hide thats what i do and works for me .

    Go out of Oswego and fish just outside the scum line to the east its in the 120 to 200 area find the temp break and fish just under it there is fish there to be caught make sure you start at first light due to early bight . Dont chase the fleet find your own fish you will be better off.

    Open seat monday and tuesday out of oswego Running a charter out of Oswego Sunday but fishing solo Monday and maybe Tuesday have a open seat if interested call 1 518 481 7502 i fish a full day no 3 hour tours or drugs or alcohol .

    Thanks for all all the info guys looks like i will start at Oswego sunday due to weather and see how the fishing is then see what monday brings .

    Nothing wrong with that great job its tough to give up the morning bight looks like browns were giving thanks to you for fishing for them .
