Nice to see some one is on the snows a couple weaks ago the birds were showing up then we got blasted with 2 feet of snow and all the geese left due to no feilds to feed in .Hoping for some warm weather and a few birds before its all over .
So looking for a little advice decided to add wingers to the spread this year and had 2 extra big jon riggers so mounting them on the sides off the boat and will be running wingers off them and deep riggers off the back. Was looking for a little advice as to when i add dipsy divers to the mix what would be the best way to do this without a big mess . I am thinking if i do not run to long off a lead off riggers and wingers i should be able to get it done without to much trouble . Any thoughts will be great thanks!
Stellwagon bank sw corner is about 3 miles from p town light house loaded with fish blues ,striper ,tuna as well as you could fish of the surf as well by the light house .
So just my 2 cents seen alot of people get sick back in my tuna fishing days and we would not go in if someone got sick. So once someone started feeling sick i would make them eat just a plain sandwich nothing fancy works every time . Just be ready because they will argue with you over it but just tell them if they dont and they get sick your not going back in . Now i have to figure out how to keep my beagle from getting sea sick . lol
Just received my 13 lb torpedo down rigger weights from Tout man they look great and great price at 85 bucks for 2 that was with shipping . GREAT DEAL !
Wont kill to many snow geese that way do your scouting and get permission and set up on them and wait for the fun to begin . I have been out looking and the cans are coming back but no snows yet ! GOOD LUCK
Looking to fish Oswego soon for early season browns was hoping someone could recommend a motel that is not right down town were i would feel like i could stay without getting all my gear stolen from my boat well asleep . I normally just sleep in the cabin on the boat but a little cold in march and april for that . THANKS
