Henderson and chamount

Can anyone tell me if it’s still worth a trip up to Henderson or Chamount for walleyes or has it already slowed down. Thanks in advance.

Tough to say if it’s worth the drive for one person or another. Some days they are in close, some days anglers are running far and wide to get them.  This is a big fishery with lots of places to hide. Just depends on the day, the weather, your boat and how much gas you’re willing to burn.

What is the pattern for walleyes this time of year? Water temp seems cold,just 60dgr. Have they moved out to the deeper basins?

I can’t say where they are now but a few years ago I was catching them on the 4th in 20’ early morning and again later in the afternoon around Stony Point.  Only 2 that day but both pushing 10 lbs.
