I just bought a 1990 GLS 195 Sea Nymph. It runs really well but getting a strong raw gas smell after running about 30 minutes. Pulling back the engine cover, don’t see where it may be leaking. The air filter smells pretty strong.
It has a blower switch but I do not see a blower or I don’t know what I am looking for.
any suggestions?

Raw gas smell usually means a leak is your tank under the floor could be a lot of things when you filled it maybe the hoses are rotted be careful  starting the motor open up the engine cover Vapors build up and ends up not being a happy day

Definitely have a pro look at it.

If the smell is ONLY coming thru the filter and only after its run for a while, then its running with a little too much fuel.  My guess (and only a guess) is that a fuel injector isn't closing properly.

DITTO HB2: Have a professional look at it.

A powered mechanical ventilation is USCG required on all boats with a permanent gasoline engine installed and operational.  If you are boarded, they will likely check it, especially if they smell gas.  Not to mention, it is very dangerous to not vent IO's or inboards properly.
