Having trouble with my berts tracks end caps stripping out. What do you guys do for a easy fix i would like to know. Thanks in advance

You mean the screw threads are stripping out?

i guess its hard to say without more detail but to me it sounds like the plastic stopper/cap at the end of the track is no longer holding the thread? if thats the case you can always drill/tap it for a larger size bolt, or drill and tap the rail like Cisco does on their tracks and put a stainless set screw in, or i would have to imagine the aluminum traxstech caps would also fit, maybe a bit of sanding but couldnt imagine much.

You are correct 4426 bolt only holds by a couple of threads anyway crappy system. But i sure would not want my riggers to fall off that would be a bad day for sure. Has to be a better way maybe drill through track insert lock pin idk ill try to drill tap threads but alluminum is pretty soft and not much holding the bolt.I think ive stripped 2 out of 8 already.

i think i would be copying what cisco does diy if i was in your shoes. Shouldnt be too hard, small drill, small tap, and two set screws is pretty hard to beat. i have seen the traxstech stoppers loosen up but its rare and would also provide what sounds like a better solution than what youre working with currently and should fit i would think
