First, thank you for reading and providing any help you could.  Ill be launching out of Pulaski on Friday, July 10 through July 12 and traveling 2 to 3 miles offshore to troll for salmon.  Ill be leaving the dock at dark and plan on running the first sets in and above thermocline. My question is, should I start with spoons or flasher flies? Ill be alone and could only legally fish 3 lines. Ill be running 2 dipsys and one down rigger. I was gonna run a carbon 14 under the rigger and flasher flies (glow) on the dipsys first thing and then switch to meat rigs later on. Would any of you suggest otherwise? If the thermocline isnt setup by next Friday, ill try running at depths where I see bait. Thanks again.

I would start with a carbon 14 on the rigger, flasher fly on one diver, and white glow 10“ spindoctor with a white glow meat rig on the other diver.

My deep rigger would pull an 8 inch flasher with meat, just below temp. My divers would be one Spin Dr fly as my deeper and a standard size spoon on my high diver. I wouldn’t line troll until I found bait and marks. When I got into a few I would spin back over the area.
Good luck. Above all fish the marks. The worst lures do better in a target rich environment than the best in dead water.
