SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

Got the day off to play at Oswego today with a couple good fishing Buddies. Slow Pick today but a couple QUALITY hits. Started off in front of oswego in 100 ft of water. Had a decent picture in shallow but only one smoker on the Wire out 250 to show for it. Fish ended biting through our 50 lb fly leader. :@

Continued deeper and around 9am found a nice pod of fish willing to play. Second hit was on a downrigger down 90 pulling a green chip and green atommik. After a long sizzling run and clearing rods, we finally slipped the net under Bill's mega shark. Pulled our scale between 33 and 34 lbs. Very close to a PB for Bill.

Had one hit immediately after on the same rig, but couln't lock up when we got to the rod. Marked a few waypoints and worked them for the rest of the morning. Proceeded with a shaker on the same rig 100 ft down as we continued north.

We put a similar rig on the the dipsy out 310. Soon later Craig was up to bat as the rod buckled and doubled over. After taking the line out 750ft, Craig worked another mega shark -31 lbs. to the net.

Finished up at Noon with another king around 18 lbs on a chrome chip and bobblehead atommik.

Fun Day on the water with couple fishing friends, and was glad not to be working.

Looks like the FALL DERBY in gonna produce some MONSTER Fish.

GOOD LUCK AND TIGHT LINES!!

I think some of the percieved bite offs are from the 50 lb leader getting pinched off at the base of the treble hooks.

Don't seem to have bite offs on trebels that I seal up with epoxy or wire.

Great report & beautiful fish, THANK YOU!!!!
