New fillet knife

Recommended Posts

Forschner.

I believe I have the 10 and 12" Cinemeter but my memory for names just plain sucks.

I know Jons tackel in Mexico stocks some.

What he said. Quick search online. Excellent knives. I also have a smaller Cutco for smaller cohos and walleyes. Great knife also, but for the kings, go with the Forschner

I know I'll probably get laughed off the board but this is best knife I have ever used. I am sure the other ones mentioned are great knives but I have never had to try any other knife I like these so much. First one I used for at least 3 or 4 seasons with zero sharpening. Left that one on the bumper of the truck one night in the dark.

The name sounded familiar Jeff and I’m not laughing. I bought 2 of them off the manufacturers rep that live on W. Lake road (I think), west of Oswego. The blade on the ones I bought are 6.5 inches, made of 440 stainless and with a rubber type handle. I bought these with Walleye in mind and they cut like butter. They were only $4 each
