Remote DC power

Looking to play w my new electronics in my office, not on the 40* boat. Want to get remote power pack, not a AC to DC plug in converter, any recommendations?

Something that you can charge up would be great

You can just buy a small 12v battery that they sell at the box stores and run it off that. Same batteries are used to run electronics when ice fishing, they cost around 20.00.

X2 Shummacher makes  a variety of them and they sell then in many places (Walmart etc.) and they are totally portable good to have around anyway (dead battery jumping, air in tires etc.). Some models have USB connection slots for electronics as well. The battery in them recharges quite quickly with the adapter that comes with it.

I keep this on board. 69 bucks at walmart. Charges from phone adapter (ac) or from USB in car.
