  2. Good king bite this morning out front 80-110โ€™.
  3. I have heard that you MAY have interference issues with it so I avoided it. Try it out and if you do rewire it separately.
  4. I think letting us know what your goal depth wise or what you want to achieve would best help us help you. Generally boards should be clipped onto monofilament line(some people do run braid though). Mainline can be copper, weighted steel, lead core, and a leader on top of that. Give us some more specifics Iโ€™m sure people can chime in. Also Iโ€™m assuming youโ€™re referring to inline boards
  5. You can get the 628 all over the place and they are very similar
  6. Thank you both. So do you both believe that if I run the Terrova and and fish finder off the same battery I will get interference?
  7. Today
  8. Got another insane one this morning and had to share lots of boats were out today until steady rain started - unfortunately I was not one of them
  9. I have a Saltist 30H on a Fish USA 8'6" rod that I wish to use for planer boards. Should I use braid or steel? Was planning on 20lb backing. Am I right that the backer should run to the release, so as to prevent damage to the chosen line? Rather confused on how to rig the setup. Thanks for any advice.

    Flares

I have this one...... put on sunglasses indoors...LOL I like it because it floats and fits in a rod holder. Shop around for the best price. https://siriussignal.com/shop/sos-c-1003/
  11. Do you still have the components that are listed? If you could please let me know.
  12. Hydraulic is the way to go. The steering is like butter compared to cable steer systems.
  13. Fished 50โ€™ to 15โ€™ east of the port. 3/4 on browns and a bonus lamprey. Biggest brown came on two-faced stringer 22 down over 35 FOW on rigger. All others on boards in 20โ€™ on green smithwick stick baits. Water around the port was 51 degrees and had good color. Further east was 46 degrees and clear. Speeds varied between 2.2 and 3.0. Trolling into and with waves both caught fish.
  14. Yes still available these are the right handed reels I see my post has an error in model # I apologize- that is my fault should be 47 LCb
  15. Electric USCG approved flares. Buy once, keep your old expired chemical flares as back ups. https://www.amazon.com/ResQFlare-Electronic-Distress-Replacement-Pyrotechnic/dp/B08FBJJBQ5/ref=asc_df_B08FBJJBQ5/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=459508398918&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4904768036541490503&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9005104&hvtargid=pla-945538896395&psc=1&mcid=f442d50a36733212b8f7d30ff3c07930&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIp-LwpLHihQMVdzMIBR30igq1EAQYAyABEgKJxPD_BwE
  16. This is still for sale. Do not want to separate. Again, I'm not on here often. email me: sleightc at y a hooo.
  17. Are there better options for the handheld flares I buy every few years to stay legal ? Anything out there that lasts longer and has better value ?
  18. Chaos itโ€™s yours. He never got back to me
  19. My current steering is rack and pinion on the dash, but it moves a hydraulic power steering system aided by the boat engine, which is a Cobra I/O. Can that be incorporated? Or do I have to discard the engine driven power steering and go completely the ray marine? Also would the Raymarine setup be strong enough to power both a main engine piston and a kicker piston setup?
  20. I love all my Rangers. Dickโ€™s had a decent selection 10 years ago.
  21. Times two on the hydraulic steering & Ray EV150, what Gambler said. Best friend you'll ever have on your boat.
