  3. Andre I'll call them first thing in the morning. although this one looks like a regular size sd card. my unit takes the small micro card

  6. Thank you guys for your comments. It helped me decide to set aside all the stuff that I somehow thought might make things work and went for a Garmin reactor 40 with an additional screen on the dash.
  7. From the Navionics website compatibilty chart:
  8. When I looked at this guys profile (after the scam) he had only been on here 2 days with no posts. That would have been nice to know prior to.
  9. Sitex makes a AP unit that works with the cable/power steering system like you have. You can then connect the main to the kicker with a EZ-steer setup. I've fished on boats that have this setup and thought it was loud and not very responsive. I chose to go with a kicker only AP setup when I was faced with the same decision, I run the Garmin TR-1 Gold on my kicker now. Unfortunately the TR-1 Gold isn't supported by Garmin anymore and finding parts is very difficult. But Garmin makes a Reactor 40 AP now that is specifically for a kicker motor, the only downfall with that unit is that it is only compatible with newer kicker motors. I'd love to have hyd steering and AP on the main engine but the cost of the hyd steering conversion on top of the AP cost was something I couldn't justify to myself.
  10. I know this boat and I can attest this boat has never missed a maintenance schedule or anything that was needed. One owner is impressive.
  11. where were you at telling me this before I was skinned, or scammed? i did learn to not trust anyone but I learned the hard way. i had no idea that more scammers are on FB Marketplace than honest people. it's a gold mine for scammers.
  12. For added reference the surface buoys to the East of Oswego are out from Alcan or stacks region and the west site is out in front of Ford Shoals.
  13. Heads up to trollers. There are emergence traps on the lake bottom and surface marker buoys approximately 5 miles east and 5 miles west of Oswego in ~100 ft of water. We experimentally released surplus Bloater eggs at these 2 sites a month ago and are now evaluating if any survived and hatched. We used large, flagged, hi-flyer buoys to maximize visibility and tried to keep the floats in as small of an area as possible. Plan is to sample these spots for approximately one mouth. There are NO nets of any kind, the sampling gear is catching 1/2” larval fish. There are lines on the bottom and heavy anchors so probably best to not troll too close and risk snagging. happy to answer any questions or concerns and thank you for steering clear! bw
  14. The boat in the lot had an accurate report. Fished Sodus this past weekend. The shallow water was crystal clear and nothing was happening inside of 80' of water. Between 90 and 100 we got fish down 40 to 80. Tripled up on Kings at one point. Green spoons mostly. The crystal clear water is not usually a good sign for the shallow bite.
  15. Tons of three year old king mouths to feed. Expect lots of entries but all within ounces.
  16. I remember the last time time that the winter was this gentle. The Pro-Am was won with a fish in the high twenties. Most of the boats had their box full before 8 in the morning.
  17. I’m in for 28 (Gambler)
  18. Gambler might want to challenge your laker prediction. I think he is aiming for 33
  19. I agree on the king and the brown. I think the laker will be 23. Be fun to see how it ends, weather is always a big factor.
  20. If you run - backing, braid, LC then leader - you will be able to get more LC options (colors) on the 30. I have had no problem with the braid slipping in the board release, just add a wrap around the clip if needed.
  21. 20lb backing is fine, and yes you want to hook the mono into the in-line. Not the wire or leadcore.
  22. Spoon fed, It has to be a micro card and from what Navionics said it has to be, MSD/SD US East This was from their service tech, John who sounded like he was from India, my call even had that long delay like it was an overseas call, very dissapointing
  23. Andre I hear what your saying but Navionics says they have nothing that would work and Lowrance says they don't support the unit because it's too old and cant be serviced or supported by them. Super great customer service and support. Seems companies just don't want to go the extra mile, they just want you to keep spending and buy new.
