  1. Past hour
  2. Thats rediculous. What if you dont have change on the way out or the machine wont take your money? Stupidity. Tell me why in the heck doesnt NYS make a nice launch at Hamlin Beach? They have all kinds of room for parking and the launch. More money for them. So they might have to make a small harbor or breakwalls or something, they could do like Sturgeon Pt On Erie. Launching around here is a joke and that includes Sandy even when open if you like walking 2 miles to your car.
  3. I'll take it if you would ship for that price. Live to far away to pick up.

  6. If you don't know how much backing you're going to need that is the best way to do it. With the backing on top initially you can make sure you get the max amount of backing and completely fill the reel so your linecounter will be correct. The correct linecounter part applies more to wire/braid diver setups than copper, but it's still a good idea to try and fill the reel either way. Then simply transfer it to another reel.
  7. I am considering a second unit also to verify the Mark's and eliminate conflicting data. Thoughts on thru hull mounted x ducer ? Sent from my SM-S767VL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. R&R tackle carries thin flutter spoons that will work at cowbell speeds. Super lites are on their website at my tackle box.com Not present on their website are the Kodiak wobbler line of spoons that have a heavy bend and produce great action at slow speeds ( you will have to email Dave to ask for these)
  9. Marking fish that wouldn't bite...
  10. I usually don't mark the fish I catch, not with my Humminbirds (959 & 1198 SI), and not with my Lowrances (Elite 9Ti & HDS 9 Gen3). But all of my fish finders mark the heck out of the fish that I DON't catch. A lot of fish swim behind your bait for awhile, behind the range of your sonar beam. If you are barely seeing your rigger ball on your sonar, or NOT seeing your rigger ball at all, then how would it be possible to see the fish that take your bait when it is 10ft or more behind your ball? Don't give up on your fish finders just yet. Point your transducer straight down. This will give you the best fish hooks on your graph. If you point the ducer too far forward or too far back it won't show the best fish returns (arches). Try a different lake, deeper or shallower water, call Humminbird, their customer service is excellent. They will help you with your settings.
