  1. Congrats Rick and crew!
  2. Left the dock around 530ish with Jakeybaby, Carpedium and Gokudl3. Started the morning in 80 fow with a great screen. Worked East catching lakers until the 75' rigger fired with a 12lb king. Made a turn back West and the 210 wire with a Live wire spinny and a green crinkle Atommik started ripping. After a nice battle, we boated a 26 and change king. Worked back to the creek taking some more lakers and a small steelhead. Not a bad morning for June. The cottonwood was horrendous along with mats of green algea. Coppers took nothing, riggers only took a couple. Wires saved the day big time.
  3. I sure hope so!
  4. It is still proportionate but it is not beat red like when it was alive. That thing had the worst case of hemroids I have ever seen.
  5. Hmmmm... I have no problem with my cable. Oh wait, thats because I run a Fish Hawk X4.
  6. I don't really care about the exact depth. I put the balls above the fish and use my electronics to fine tune my spread. If the X4D says the rigger is at 90' and the rigger shows below the fish, what good is it doing me?
  7. You got that right Matt. Was that your mount with the 3 King Eiders together? If so, that is a cool mount with the 3 of them.
  8. No problem Lee. Good luck with the new boat.
  9. You should see the Genesee River or Irondequoit Bay! Monroe County Sherrifs, Coast Guard, State Park Police, and Boarder Patrol. You can't go out without getting stopped!
  10. Don't you usually fish the Pro Division Lucas?
  11. I would go with X4 as long as you can see your riggers on your fish finder. I upgraded my head unit last fall and sat on the decision for a while.
  12. Mitchels on Lake Ave has some. Stop in and see Ryan or Bob.
  13. Lee, What did you buy?
  14. That is a snapper stacker rigger release. They are used for stacking rods or regular rigger releases. I used to use them on my boat back in the day when we stacked rods. They work good but you have to double rubberband them and twist the rubberband good or the line slips through the rubberband.
  15. Team Escape will be fishing both days. Who else is in?
  16. I got the skin mount of the 34lb 6oz lake trout that Kurt caught on my boat last summer back today. It is next to the 24lb 11oz laker I caught back in 2005. The lighting sucks and it was taken with my crap cell phone. I will try to get better pics and post them. The DEC still has the head and has not aged it yet. They looked at the scales but the age came back inconclusive. Hopefully they age it and get back to Kurt and I.
  17. Wonderful. Here we go again.
  18. Congrats Nick. Great report and great fishing.
  19. Over the years at that launch, I watched a couple people rip the axels off their trailers, back the trailer on the dock, hit vehicles, fights and all sorts of other things. The best was the fist fight between a pleasure boater and a jetskier. The jetskier cut in line taking out his jetski. He left the keys on the dock and the pleasure boater kicked them into the water. The brawl was really intersting. The police where ther in seconds.
  20. They should put bleechers and sell tickets for the show at every public boat launch.
  21. You don't know until you try. I have had good luck in the past with Cannons customer service.
  22. Sorry for your troubles. I would give Cannon a call before you spend ther money on a new rigger. Cannon stand behind their products. You might be suprised if you call them.
