    Could be. What it means is we should have a larger amount of good water vs the typical year where its extremely tight to shore. You should be able to fish a bit deeper and find plenty of hungry fish. Im expecting to see lots of Kings around out of my home port in that time frame.

    Stick baits because they are speed tolerant 75-100 ft leads Iron bay and east 6-12 fow parallel trolls to the shoreline

    I will admit that upgrading the drags is awesome however I have been told that straight out of the box they are solid now.

    According to my Okuma Rep the sticky drag issue was finally resolved. After years and years of back and forth with them I was told the resolved the issue. With that being said both the coldwaters and convectors have the same drag. I have used both as diver reels and they both do the job however I prefer the Convector 30 high speed personally. I never have liked the "looks" of the coldwaters.

    So as an Okuma guy I run Okuma Convector CV-30DS. I use the high speed models and I find them great for wire.
