  1. Pretty sure I saw one listed in the want adds on this board brand new in the box for 350.00. Wasn't to long ago, take a look. Never mind. Just went looking for it and it's sold. Glen
  2. Thought and prayers Lew and Zach. Glen and Kelly.
  3. Got out in the Bay Saturday and Sunday. Was pretty nasty with the cold temps and NW winds but the fish were biting a little bit so it was worth it. Usual Brown trout lures were taking fish. Sticks and spoons off the boards and shallow riggers. Prefered colors were changing as conditions changed starting out with dark colors and switching up to bright stuff. Fish were on the move and weren't in the same place from Sat. to Sunday. Gotta figure the wind was moving things around. Saturday we did 10 pretty quick once we found them. Kept our six, average in size witht he biggest about 7+ lbs. Did something I don't usually do and left those fish. Last weekend we did 4 right in a row betwwen 8 and 10 lbs for the same area. Went looking for those bigger fish but didn't find um. Finished the day with 11 Browns boated and 6 in the box. Got Richard thawed out over night and back in the boat Sunday morning. Was a couple degrees warmer but that friggen wind was crankin even worse than Sat.. Very difficult to hold any kind of consitant speed or keep the boat going in the direction I wanted to go. On top of that the dam fish had moved so we had to find them again. They hadn't gone far and when we did find them we did our 6 and got the hell off that nasty Lake. Back at um next weekend. Glen
  4. No. This has nothing to do with LO Kings. The numbers of Lakers in Seneca and Cayuga where just ridiculous. They should have done this years ago. Glen
  5. Hi Ed, looking for a GPS for my small boat. Didn't want to spend that much on a unit. Would you be willing to sell without the chip and if so how much? Thanks Glen
  6. Yup. My vote goes to the Oak. Glen
  7. Thanks. Those are the ones. Glen
  8. You guys using those long cylindrical shaped swivels? What are they called? Thanks Glen
  9. If you want run weight on your mono I would say snap wiehgts might work for you. If I remember correctly you get about 5 foot of depth per oz of weight. You could also look into lead core off the boards. Glen
  10. Thanks for posting the report Rod. Plan on spending alot of hours on the lake getting ready for the tournaments. Wanted to add that theres plenty of water everywhere. Much better than last springs low water conditions. Could you email me those pictures? [email protected] Thanks Glen
  11. Anybody going to record this? I can't get that channel. Glen
  12. Yea, theres fish in the lake and you can get on the lake. Glen
  13. I wouldn't exchange them. You will be allright with your Diawas. Glen
  14. I ran Magda 30's for the first 3 or 4 years if fished the big lake. Taken probably a couple hundred Kings per reel running them off the downriggers and the drags held up, or should I say they worked. Now when you talk about putting wire on them I gotta say that I wouldn't do it. The reels would probably hold up for a season or two but you got to remember you got $40.00 worth of wire, a $12.00 dipsey, $10.00 attractor with a five dollar fly as well as Snap swivels and snubber. Lose a couple sets and you just blew the money it would have cost you for a quality reel. AND the fish you lose will be the $20,000.00 derby winner for sure. Just something to think about. Glen
  15. Thats better. Nice fish there young fella. Glen
  16. Think I'm missing something.
  17. Congratulations. First lake report of the season. Glen
  18. Won't be to early for the fish. The weather can be unpleasant but I'm usually out fishing by then. You sure can't COUNT ON good weather but you can't rule it out either. Glen
