  1. That orange rr spoon was a good producer for me on the early season kings this year
  2. I like 8'6 medium or medium light with 15# big game. I use those rods for everything. If you get on eBay you can get those okuma downrigger rod and reel combos for like $300 for 4. You don't need a line counter for rigger rods http://m.ebay.com/itm/Okuma-Great-Lakes-Trolling-Combo-Classic-Pro-GLT-Magda-45DX-4-PK-CPCL-862M-45DX-/181785379181?nav=SEARCH
  3. I launch my 22' islander at least once a week at woodville, just leave trim up a bit and don't hammer it till you get out far enough
  4. Got my first skunk in 2 years of fishing tonight, and also it was very rough out there. I fished till dark
  5. I'll be on the water about 230-3 if you get any going and want to share let me know, and I'll do the same.
  6. There was lots of bait and fish marks inside off 100 fow on the drop off, they weren't cooperating but they were piled right up on it, the rest of the south half of the lake was hit or miss on marking anything but mostly miss
  7. We worked the drop off from 60-100fow most of the morning and must've marked a million fish and tons of bait but just couldn't get anything to bite
  8. I brown on a silver and gold sutton 44 and a few other hits with no one home in first 30 minutes of light, then washed spoons till 1
  9. I'm going to try one last time this year for rainbows at canandaigua and was looking for pointers, I've tried everything I can think of and am stumped. I launch out of woodville
  10. I don't see a blue jeans in there, it was a toss up between that or carbon 14 for the hottest spoon for me this year
  11. For that kind of money someone would be better off just going and buying land
  12. I just looked again, that's crazy! What difference does the time make as long as it was weighed on a certified scale? That rule is garbage
  13. Loc rules don't have an official time, if they weighed it on their certified scale it should've counted
  14. We only got 1 quality king yesterday but picked up a bunch of big lakers on a uv gator Michigan stinger spoon, yesterday was the first time I ever used it and before the end of the day the hook was ripped off the dam thing, it was responsible for 2 lakers over 20# and 10+ over 15# all while trolling 2.3 for kings
