    any one try them as table fare ? only caught them threw the ice on oneida lake and i consider them to a garbage fish . i called a them a ling , didn't know them as burbot fish .

    Lake Effect Snow Dealing with cabin fever and internet lure shopping is getting old to me . here in the finger lakes at my home we got one big dumping of snow. the first week of deer hunting 30 plus inches and haven't had much cents. the east end of ontario been getting hit again this week . lets hear your stories and if any pics to share would be interesting to read or see

    will need a boat and trailer title . or if not titled a transferable registration for each . that is for new york not sure what other states are . if never been titled with a state would think a bill of sale from dealer would work . would have to go to the dmv and see. fill the dvm forms ,pay the taxes and fees and your in.to sell the boat and trailer sign the title and a bill of sale will work.

    i get the ran around form my wife every time i buy my ny fishing/ hunting lic. any time i buy ammo a lure and gas for the boat . i bring home deer / fish and its all ways the same thing . yeah that cost thousands of dollars .

    late deer season i had big flocks of robins bouncing around the grass at my place . i was siting in my tree stand and had them all around me in the trees ,. i never recall any thing like that all my years of hunting deer . was talking to buddy about it and he said some time the robin is late to leave . any ways i am ready for spring .

    in the day when smelt ran in the tribs in grate numbers . we come home late and fill milk cartons with the smelt (not cleaned) and water then freeze . we thawed and clean as we would want them for dinner .

    i have lowrance, the elite 5 chirp and elite 5 hdi both work very well had no problems . the lowrance hook was new last year , have seen post on L O U that the hooks have problems with them and the customer service is poor to none . my buddy up graded to the garmin echomap 73 sv and its better than the lowrance any day but he spent more than 500 $ on it

    with deer season over my mind is thinking spring . i started making up my new seth green rod and was wondering how the new regime is coming along with the seneca lake derby . any news kicking around ?

    last year was the first year i tried the spin and glows for lake trout . i fished the finger lakes and i ordered Gambler spin and glows in the the mags and did poor with them . i switch to the regs and crush the lake trout with them for the rest of season .

    Hornady Manufacturing Company :: Muzzleloading :: Sabots - Bullets :: 50 Cal :: 50 Cal Sabot with 44 Cal 240 gr HP XTP® Bullet is what shoot with my t/c omega , i just got the sst 50 cal 250 grains but haven't tired them yet . hope they work as good as the xtp do .

    i also like the walkers for deep trolling , ( no rings and easy adjustable ). the chinooks are ok but a little of pain to set up , don't like taking off the front weight to adjust and they have sharp edges . ( deburring edges needed ) . last season i used the u charters lite bite slide divers . can get kits to make them regs or mags divers . i ran them on wire with 75 to 100 feet of braid splice in , like the stealth presentation , when running spoons i add 10 foot of fluorocarbon line to the braid .

    my 1998 6 hp 2 stroke johnson has done a awesome job then some . i just bought a new four stroke kicker a new four stroke kicker trap and a remote throttle controls . will be pulling my omc controls , and the johnson 2 stroke . i want to pipe the fuel line to main tank . need ways to do this , was thinking getting two check valves and hooking them to the water separator . any thoughts on this and the remote throttles controls ?

    was on seneca sunday my buddies new garmin sonar was marking more fleas than there was fish. with lines coming up semi loaded with fleas . that being said fishing sucks on seneca lake caught only one small laker .worst day of fishing this year ..

    there is a place in sodus . only know guys first name( Alan ). his # is 315 521 4835 . storage place is on maple ave . he gets 18.50 a foot . i have not used a his storage place. was thinking on doing so but had my boat shrink wrap. i have called him and talk to him sounds like a nice storage place he is willing show the place to you before commit .

    i think i remember some years ago when the dec wouldn't do any thing about those fish eating nasty birds the charter caps out of henderson made a run at night and did a number on them while nesting up for the night . my hat went to them , but i think the feds got involved
