  1. i also like the walkers for deep trolling , ( no rings and easy adjustable ). the chinooks are ok but a little of pain to set up , don't like taking off the front weight to adjust and they have sharp edges . ( deburring edges needed ) . last season i used the u charters lite bite slide divers . can get kits to make them regs or mags divers . i ran them on wire with 75 to 100 feet of braid splice in , like the stealth presentation , when running spoons i add 10 foot of fluorocarbon line to the braid .
  2. my 1998 6 hp 2 stroke johnson has done a awesome job then some . i just bought a new four stroke kicker a new four stroke kicker trap and a remote throttle controls . will be pulling my omc controls , and the johnson 2 stroke . i want to pipe the fuel line to main tank . need ways to do this , was thinking getting two check valves and hooking them to the water separator . any thoughts on this and the remote throttles controls ?

  11. went to deans cove . Launched boat around 6:30 and motored out to 75 fow set up on north troll with a strong S S/E wind . started picking up fish right away . By 9:00 we had 15 fish over the rail . We move out 170 fow on south troll . We had to go to the i/o and shut down the kicker with 4 foot waves, picked up 2 lakers and 4 more land locks . After a 2 hour troll south turn and trolled north back to ramp work 100 to 160 fow with the lake laying down to a foot wave . we picked fish up all the way back . our speed by GPS was 1.8 to 2.8 . we used rig rods with sutton spoons top leader down 20 the other down 30 feet. Did a mess of fish today only the 2 lakers and 2 LL with any size . marked a lot of big fish on bait pods but didn't want to bite . Released all fish to day . With deer season here deans had only 3 other trailers in the parking lot at 12:30 when we left .

  13. i tend to agree with Bozeman Bod . sounds like a mess . i would spend my time washing lures and changing speeds letting the fish tell me what they want .
