  1. This. Picked up Vevor chamber sealer back in November. Used it to package 5 deer this year and operated flawlessly. Very easy to use, different sized bags for different cuts. I was trying to decide between this sealer and Vacmaster, but after some research, everything is made in China regardless of brand (was hoping Vacmaster was USA made). Although it weighs about 60 pounds, I'll still be taking this to the boat each weekend. Going to save a ton of time and money sealing salmon after they are fileted. 7. I've used these up to 400 copper. I'm sure they would work fine on a 500, especially if clipped to mono. https://www.fishusa.com/Amish-Outfitters-Clipper-Planer-Board-Releases/
  8. Cinched rubber band. Takes a few seconds longer to hook up, but basically free. No risk of damaging line

  13. Can clean offshore, but need to keep skin on for identification. Also, you can't dispose of carcasses within 100 or 500' for shore.....I don't remember. We typically clean 'em in our last 30 min of fishing, so don't have to worry about distance.
  14. Fished this morning, tons of kings 190-300. 45-120 down. Fog burned off around 9am

  19. Give Plexus a try. Expensive, but works like a charm cleaning up clear plastic. Not sure about the fading/browning though.

  21. Offers/trades welcome
  22. High mileage synthetic blend. Original inboards from 1993. Knock on wood, still running strong.
  23. I use a simpler method of creating spreadsheet and log what i want on the boat. During winter when bored out of my mind, I nerd out a throw them in Excel. Easy way to compare year to year, lures, depths, spreads, weather, etc
