    They released Atlantic’s in Sandy last weekend. Friend sent me a pic of the dock just upstream of my boat. Sucks.

    It’s scattered though and you have to find the pockets holding better water. The fish we cleaned were stuffed with jumbo size alewife.

    Surprisingly the lake was very nice this morning, didn’t start to blow until around 10:30. Better class of Browns than we found yesterday and some good Kings including one pushing 18lbs. Sticks took some fish but spoons on divers and riggers did better. Spent the morning between 20 and 25 feet of water.

    Fun morning with Legacy and Lake Runner. Good class of Browns and Kings. Mostly 15-20 feet of water, warmest we saw was 44 degrees. Fair amount of boats out and based on net movement it looked like everyone was having a good day.

    Two older Mag 10A electric downriggers. Come ready to go with swivel mounts. They go up and down but are slow (the way the older ones were) and can’t use weights over 10lbs (at least I never did with them). Short arms. pick up only in North Greece. $100 cash firm. DM if you want them, will answer in order they come in.

    My father’s last boat burned between 120 and 200 gallons of diesel per hour while on plane. We were frequently fishing 100 miles or more offshore for days. I remember logging over 700 nautical miles in a weekend tournament. Full send for what we do on Lake O. Gas prices are the least of our worries. That being said if I was a charter boat I might be spending more time taking a look inside.

    Water level is fine but Franks docks aren’t in yet.

    100lb braid is the same diameter as 30lb mono. Fleas are a complete non issue. Like said before mono stretches and you won’t be able to trip your dipsy to bring it in. Braid or wire should be your main line.

    Robs a freak. I can’t tell you how tight he runs his releases. 😂. Will say however it works.
