  1. i was going to say it looked like 1 short and 1 long. i will have a black long boom you can have if you want 2 with long booms but you have to pay shipping., i bought 2 of the extendible booms and as soon as i get them installed it will be available. just pm me if you need it. it may not be 6' but its over 4'.
  2. i have a few handles for the daiwa sg17 sg27 and the sg47. believe it or not but they all use the same handles. i have a few paddle and power handles. i'm not trying to get rich just get my money back and make just a few dollars for my trouble. 10.00 plus 2.50 shipping. just pm me if you want a few.
  3. we just bought a boat that had an old one that didn't work. i bought this one to replace mine. but before i got it i found a like new motor and actuator. i installed it and it works like new. so i decided to sell the new one. if you have a kicker without power trim you have to have one of these.
  4. i would just invest in a Garmin reactor 40 kicker auto pilot for the kicker only. it costs 2599.00 everywhere i looked.
  5. if i didn't have a like new set of Big Johns pro tournaments and the boat i just bought has a set of cannons on it i would jump on those for 300.00. good used manuals will cost 300.00
  6. i don't use the lite bite slide diver for a longer leader but for the lite bite feature. i've used longer leads for walleye on erie but do just as good with 6' and over. some guys go as short as 5' with a dipsy and still catch fish. the lite bite has a lure tension that when set right even white perch will trip the diver keeping me from dragging a small fish around for long periods that's just long times that lure wont be catching fish.
  7. thanks for the info. but i have the daiwa sg17lca reels now and have power handles on them. but we lost 3 reels on erie this yr with mechanical problems and i contacted tunasreeltroubles.com about repairing them. i was told they no longer repair the sg17lca reels so i'm upgrading to the okuma cold water 203 reels and wanted to have the power handles and seen the ones i ordered has the power handles. i just hope the 203 is big enough for 150' of 16# ande line then 300' of 65# power pro braid for erie walleye.
  8. the big improvement is you can choose the length of your leader. i use the lite bite version and use it like a dipsy with a fixed 7'leader. if you want to get deeper than about 65' you need to get the 7 oz conversion. it has a 7 oz weight and use a large ring and get deeper than the regular weight. i don't know if they have a dive curve for it so you may need to make your own. go to 50' of water with your diver set on whatever you use and at your normal trolling speed. now let out line slowly until you start bumping bottom. whatever you get divide it by 10. like say it takes 120' divided by 10 would give you 12. then divide 50' of water by the 12 it would give you 4.16 which i would round off to 4.2. that would be your dive curve for every 10' of line you let out you would dive 4.2' you would need to let out 238' to get close to 100' deep. of course you will not get 120' ft but use what you get and divide by 10' then take that number and dived 50' and that will be your dive curve for every 10' of line you let out. and it will get you very close. it will get you much deeper than a standard slide diver or a dipsy.
  9. i dont thing i need power handles. i went back to the listing on eBay where i bought mine and it says it comes with power handles. thank you for your answer.
  10. i cant see where the type of steering would have any effect on the unit not shutting down. now the unit he has may have a different order in the way it shuts down. my raymarine smart pilot x-5r unit wont shut down if the unit is engaged it doesn't shut the unit down. you have to disengage the auto pilot then push and hold the off button until it counts down to 0.
  11. will the power handle fit the okuma coldwater 203 model?
  12. you might be able to contact raymarine and just buy a new control box and save a bunch of money and time over getting a new one. just make sure you are trying to shut it down in the right order. on mine i had a problem shutting it down. i was trying to shut it down while still in auto mode.
  13. if you'll mail at my expense i'll pay 25.00 for it plus shipping.
  14. i have a ray marine smartpilot x-5r with rudder sensor still on the boat. i live in muncie in and if you want to come remove it we could work out a great deal. it should be like new as i've only had it about 4 or 5 yrs and its only been used 1 or 2 weeks per year. if your interested shoot me a good offer.
  15. you might check the bellhousing where it bolts to the block. but it could be a fly wheel bolt. i don't know about boat motors but on a car the bottom of the flywheel has a small cover bolted to the bottom of the bellhousing this would be my first guess.
  16. lot 3 mags 1 and 2 and 15, lot 2 stingers 1 and 10 and 11. lot 2 stingrays 5 and 10. lot 1 mags 8. lot 1 stingrays 9 and 18. lot 2 mags 7. do you take pay pal? sherman brown 2715 e 29th st muncie in 47302
  17. i thought about getting a X-bow for a few yrs as i'm handicapped. i did a lot of reading because i wanted to get a good one. as i didn't have anyone to hunt with me i gave up on the idea. but from my research i had decided to get a ten point. they have great reviews compared to other brands. no bow can compensate for every shooters error. even though never ends had a miss fire something like that is rare and could probably happen with other bows.
  18. i fish lake erie for walleye. i run 2 riggers 1 off each corner at a 45% angle out the side. then i run lite bite slide divers out the side. these are about the same as a standard dipsy diver. if i still fished salmon i would stick with 2 riggers 1 on each corner out the side but set at a 45% angle to the back and 4 divers with 2 on each side. i would run a standard diver in the front then i would either run a magnum or a slide diver with the 7 oz conversion kit in the back. you can use the slide part of the diver if you want longer leads. but i tie to the front arm just like a dipsy then tie a 7' leader to the back. this way you have the front diver set on 3 for your high diver and the back diver set on 1 for your deep diver.
  19. i personally feel the front bracket is superior to the ez steer and a fraction of the cost. it was very nice of great laker to share this picture. i have a mercruiser and couldn't use the bracket above so i'm using the ez steer but only have it mounted but i've never used it.
  20. how do plan to steer your little motor. the ez steer is one option but the coat is a little high. another option for 2 outboards is the kicker motor steering on eBay. the ez steer connects on the rear and is supposed to be self adjusting. and is left on at all times. the other one mounts on the front and is very easy to remove when tilting either motor. but the best option is the garmin reactor 40 autopilot with ghc. if you have a gps thats compatible with the garmin you dont need the ghc. with ghc 2599.00 without ghc 2299.00. hope this helps.
  21. i have a panther spacer in front of my panther tilt and trim (lift) the spacer gives more motor clearance when the motor is tilted. but any way would it help if i went down and measured the width and height on the panther model 35 to see if you have room. by the way i have a brand new open box model 35 i'll take 450.00 plus shipping if you want it. i think it cost 568.00 plus shipping for a new one. this one hasn't even been mounted. you might as well save a ab 150'00. i bought it and never needed it. i got by changing the motor and actuator on mine. they work great if you want power tilt on a kicker without having it.
  22. just order the motor from bigjon.com and contact them by phone then explain your in a hurry and they should ship it as fast as you want it shipped. and get the heavy duty motor.
  23. i'll need to have them shipped if you accept my offer.
  24. i use the std slide diver but dont know what size it is but its about the same size as a std dipsy. the only rings i have encountered are the small and large rings for this diver. but i think the std or large is a size 1 that has rings then there's the size 00 which is on the small size and has no rings that i know about. now if your wanting to get deeper faster they have a set with the large ring and a 7 oz weight that gets er done.
