The next few days the wind will be out of the western quadrants. It will be blowing steady and at a good clip

That would mean that given the warmer weather and sunshine, the surface water will get warmer and this warmer water will be pushed into the shore. It will push the cold water away back to where it belongs, deep down on the bottom of the lake or there abouts.

Maybe finally there will be warmer water on the south shore and with it, fish

May the Lady of the Lake  bring abundance in our coolers.

It is starting to happen. The water temperature at the buoy off Oswego is reading over 53 degrees. From here on it is all up a bit every day.

After last nights trip, I can tell you the fishing hasn’t improved much.  The alewife die off is still in full swing too.

I fished out of oak orchard last night there are some kings around still some coho and a bunch of skippers

This smells like VHS is rearing it’s head not winter kill.

Let's hope you are wrong.

In the meantime, water temperature off Oswego is 56 and the buoy north of Rochester is clocking in above 50 degrees

And it is supposed to blow 10-15 out of NE Sunday. F’it, I am going to Erie.
