Anyone still trolling out on the Finger Lakes

Has anyone been out lately

Was on Cayuga Tuesday. Didn't see any other trollers. a couple jiggers and perch guys. Fishing was good. Plenty of lake trout and rainbows.

Was out Saturday. Still plenty of lakers and rainbows. Looked for jk1 but didn't see ya.

I have not used my own boat in a year there "trailer trash".   Been with a friend in his boat, a old bass tracker with a 40 hp jet motor.   Went ocean fishing last week instead on Friday-rough and no fish for our group.   Be up next week I hope-weather permitting......jk

 JK1-Gotta watch those "ocean fishing" reports... You would think Stripers were jumping into the boat... You'll hear  glowing reports like "we put 38 Stripers in the boat today".. What they WON'T say is there were 45 guys on the boat, and 30 of the fish were caught by 3 regulars that fish every day.. Yes there are guys down in NY/NJ that fish every single day, or at least 5-6 times a week on those big party boats.. Take the  "Striper Slaughter" reports and weigh them carefully.. Those fish aren't everywhere, and they didn't get to 40 pounds by being stupid... bob

That is now it's official name now.  and Happy Holidays guys.  Trappin season is here waiting for the ice to form somewhere close......jk
